I just wonder... almost every post is about threat.. and how you brag about bad players and all that shitty stuff you hear and see in pug matches.... it makes you guys feel pro or something like that ?

A vast majority of perilous pugs are usually one of three things:

 

Team works together and wins

Team doesn't work together and wipes

Someone solos, basically

 

Its hilariously easy for a single player to screw the entire team in perilous which is why, from what I've seen, the majority of us play threatening due to a higher success rate (in terms of gold and exp) compared to perilous wipes before zone 3.

Had some fun Perilous games with a chatty, relatively new player. He kept looking to me for advice but I had to admit my general scrubbiness as I kept dying (trying a new Necromancer build). We got Demons 3 times in a row and unfortunately didn't extract, but it was still fun. I did get several massive Walking Bomb + Fade Step + Mind Blast chain reactions.

Most people are just talking about their recent experiences, not bragging. How does one "brag about bad players?" It's not something people brag about, it's just something people talk about. It's an inevitable part of playing multiplayer, which I would have assumed someone who plays it would know.

it was my opinion.... so no i didn´t read every single post.

Who doesn´t act like that.. wouldn´t be offended.. he would rather agree with me ^^ but still nice your own my side and ur telling me that most ppl are nice. 

I think about the bragging.. i do have some other standards.. maybe bc i forget the bad ppl/situations and remember the good once.

@Minous if you say so.. i could simple say it.. like in every other thread.. yeah i just do play perilous... even with level 1 toons.. ur mad now ? Maybe i should add that 2 friends carry me.. since i do always die like good ol´ leeroy ..... and then these 2 level 20 AW´s finishing it for me.. *gosh*

So in an effort to hurry up and promote my Keeper out of her current build, I've been doing no treasure room runs on Threatening.  Was hosting as well.  Started out solo and eventually got like an Archer, a Necromancer and a Templar who was steamrolling stuff with their Wrath of Heaven/Spell Purge combo.  I'm one game away from hitting 20, We're about to start Zone 5

 

And the game crashes....

I've been getting crazy CTDs on MP the last couple days, too. Usually right before zone 5. What's up with that?

Seems like you're the one getting butthurt.

 

Anyway, as Adamantite_Wolf said, Perilous pugs generally have 1 of 3 results.  Not to mention that the vast majority of pugs camp on Threatening and Routine, hence why most of the stories are on Threatening.  Kind of like how most pugs on ME3 MP hang around on bronze and silver.

 

Besides, most of the people posting here have a good deal of sarcasm in their posts.  Not to mention that this thread is mostly about people's... interesting encounters with DA MP pugs.  Talking about a match where nothing went wrong and everyone played decently isn't very interesting.  Talking about a match where pugs didn't know how to play and/or acted like they knew how to play better than anyone and failed miserably either by getting downed more than anyone or being at the bottom of the scoreboard (which doesn't carry as much significance as it did in ME3 MP) is more entertaining and tends to stick in people's minds better.

 

At least this isn't like the forums for GTA or COD, since the MP for those games is PvP instead of PvE.  Odds are, the bragging would be infinitely worse than here.  Treating everyone on this thread like we're douches isn't justified, especially not when pugs are generally much worse, and plenty of them have been mentioned.

Haven't had any ctd's lately. (at least that's what my doctor says) But the game locked up on me completely twice today. Totally frozen. Alt + F4 couldn't help those freezes, man. I had to manually start the task manager to close the game. Wot da hell, DAMP?

It actually helped me when people would point out stuff like "I joined a PuG with a Keeper who instantly attacks everything in the room and draws all the aggro, of course she face-planted once a zone" or "saw a Katari running around with a berserker weapon, of course he'd die by a couple of stray arrows." So among the wealth of annoying/interesting/downright funny PuG stories there's some nuggets of wisdom in here, especially for new players.

In a world...1 Perilious PUG...3 people in party chat...1 outcome....SUCCESS!

 

My friends and I tried running to the very end of each level where we could bunch ALLLL the things through a door and slaughter them.

Group setup was assassin, AW, templar and the pug was a legionnaire.

Successfully beat 5 perilous with at least one of each faction. Most fun I've ever had on this game.

I had people who were making their first threatening run. They actually believed that character level matters in terms of whic difficulty to play. It was cute. Did alright with them and my Elementalist until we got overrun by the DC.

Yeah, i give newer people benefit of the doubt And don't get mad. Being new, they don't realize how much equipment and prestige influences your ability to kill stuff. I have only been prestiging willpower and cunning, think I've only prestiged a reaver twice for constitution. Don't like the dynamics of tanks here... Don't seem to be as tanky as a lot of other said chars. i usually host though so that I don't feel bad using a level 1 . Also after power leveling with friends on perilous, routine and threatening feel like a cake walk unless you get bad players.
