Perilous wipe. I knew my Necro wasn't perilous ready yet, but I couldn't find any threatening games. There were 2 of us, both necros. The other one knew what they were doing, and had to resurrect me in zone 1. Freakin' zone 1! It was a portent of things to come. I kept trying to kite, and then got pwnt by some archer in a bush. Genuinely. It was hiding behind a bush. Lamest camouflage ever, but it worked. And then as I looked on helplessly from the fade, a stalker, brute and spellbinder (by our powers combined, we are captain butt-rape!) took out the other Necro. An archer had joined, but he must not have seen us getting our butts kicked, and decided to open a guardian door nearby. It didn't take long.
Eevaranshee (sp?) I don't know if you're on here, but sorry dude! That said, double walking bombs and winters grasps made for good CC.
To make myself feel better, I went onto routine and levelled up some assassin. It's been a while since I ran assassin, but I don't remember being able to facetank large groups of mobs with a level 4 assassin, even on routine. Did biower stealth-nerf routine?
No routine has always been just that, routine, it's most likely you leveled up your gear and promotion stats. Routine is the difficulty level that you can actually tell if your armor upgrades makes any difference but on perilous you still won't survive 2 arrows regardless. It's same thing with the templar faction, people were commentating in pugs that the rtc got stealth buffed, he did not, it's just that the demon commander got nerfed to oblivion so it's much more apparent how strong he is compared to the other two bosses. Than again, red Templars have always been the toughest faction due to the the ohk shadows and ranged mobs, especially on perilous.
