Stolen from Qunandar, brought to Ferelden,
Charging on arrival, charging for survival.

So I dipped my toes in Perilous again, both successful but the last one I witnessed for the first time that infamous ele fade cloak exploit. Loading into the game my joypad was going loco, screen shaking l was expecting a giant when I turned the corner to join the party but nope. Get to the demon commander, ele cuts em down in seconds, that's kinda lame. Collected my cash and left.

I checked how close I am to the Nug icon. I have 140 PuGs. You have blown past me. I am a DAMP casual to your DAMP OCD.

I've heard about this before, but idk anything about it. Never even seen it either, as far as I know.

... unless it's related to the Flashpoint passive. Is that basically what the exploit is?

Yes it's related to the flashpoint passive, and yes it's really gay.
So, DA MP's equivalent of the Missile Glitch, then.

Yup, I'm not really sure how it works but it's annoying, it was the host who was using it, all those screenshakes. ![]()
As for my last pug, very good, stuck with the same group for 4 games, everyone stopped to open treasure rooms, smash vases, collect all the monies.
Breezed through those games in no time.

Yeah, the game is beyond stale at this point. Bloodborne is right around the corner so, BW, you may want to give a teaser or something of some amazing dlc to keep interest in DAIMP...

I loaded in stuck at the door on 5/5 with my Keeper and only the TC alive. The team was taking a beating so I tried to barrier them but they all went down. As I'm waiting for TC to walk over I see the AW slowly crawling toward me from the centre of the area. He just made it in time for a revive and a barrier before the TC showed up to be finished off.

I was bad, my friend was bad and the pugs were bad. Couldn't even finish threatening game, how sad. Back to routine.

I discovered that I don't entirely suck with a lagtari. Had a few good pugs with him yesterday. Even topped the scoreboard a few times, although that was probably mainly due to Starfang.

So ,,,, I think the Red Templars are tougher than the Demons now on perilous after a number of games on the weekend. RTC and his sword smash just decimates.
Had about 4 big fat fails in a row on perilous on the weekend. Including one where a guy on mic started abusing me for opening up a door and letting out a revenant when the door was a mage door, I was an assassin and all I did was run back and try and save the dumbo keeper that had run back to open the door on their own initiative.

Were you on XB1? Because you sound like the Threatening game I joined with my Archer that suddenly became Routine. Threatening is an easy cruise so I could have carried but the leader insisted he was going to do Routine.

My support Keeper somehow soloed 10 red templars and the commander on Threatening after the rest of the team wiped. Good thing I had confusion grenades.

Red Templars are my least favourite for zone 5 in perilous. Demon Commander? Spirit resist potion and go. Venatori Commander? Fire resist potion and go (as necessary). RTC is the only one whose damage can't be reduced to nothing, and if your connection to the host is bad, good luck.

If the demons have forums, I can only assume the "nerf all the mages, DemonWare" threads are going up right now... Threatening, with two elementalists, a keeper and my necromancer. The only time anyone went down was when yours truly forgot I hadn't picked up fade step yet and kinda got myself obliterated by DC and friends right at the start of the boss wave. Other than that, very smooth run.

Fade Step never seems to let me avoid damage. I see the DC is going to pop up so I use FS and still take the damage.
Also I had the enemies left/key drop thing happen again yesterday but it was 3 enemies left. I killed one after the key dropped, the second red mark on the map disappeared and the third one was still there when I went to the next zone.

Was running some Perilous pugs last night and like 20 minutes ago.
In one run we were doing Orlesian Chateau, Red Templars, on Zone 5, doing the font room strat. Barrier the lego and charge into the archers with a fade step and start doing my thing.
"Geez Hadred you're a brave Keeper." my friend, also a Keeper, says to me in voice chat.
"Only until the Barrier runs out :P" I told him. I messed up at one point, spammed too much chain lightning and didn't have enough mana to reapply barrier to myself while a knight and a few archers were aggroed on me. Thank god for guardian spirit and pots! Run was successful.
Another run, just did this one. Group was an Arcane Warrior, Hunter, and Reaver plus myself. Orlesian Chateau, Demons.
We are clear the first zone relatively smoothly. As we're starting to clear through Zone 2 the reaver gets on his mic.
"Hadred, you got some mad barrier skillz man!" He says. I would've plugged in my mic to reply, but I misplaced it while moving stuff around in my room in order to give my ps4 a wired connection.
The "Mad Barrier Skillz" were put to the test in Zone 5, when the Hunter got aggro on the DC and kited him in the font room and the AW and Reaver were killing enemies in the front. Hunter was isolated from the others so I had to try and alternate barriers between the Hunter and the Reaver. The Arcane Warrior didn't need a barrier of course. The Reaver got downed once, but I was able to pick him up and the Hunter almost died at one point, but I was able to prevent him from getting downed. Run was successful. All in all some good runs I've had recently, can't complain.

Leaching - I had a phone call half way through a Threatening game I was hosting and missed 2 zones completely while afk. Managed to get back for the start of Zone 5 and we got a full extraction - thank you nameless Ele for the carry!
