Threatening run. 2 legionaries, 2 katari (I was one of those qunari).
We stomped everything in our way and almost got full extraction against Red Templars, but sadly that pesky commander got us. One of the funniest pug's I've had so far.

Last DAMP.
Trying to keep Leeroy and Leanne Jenkins alive was a chore (Alchemist & Legionnaire) somehow we made it to the final section and cleared, mostly thanks to the incredible ranger we had with us.
Really do think those Red Templar Archers are slightly OP however, if there were ever more than 2, if they were not delt with quickly someone was going down.
Those Archers, The Demon Commander, and some rare instances of Shadows. Things go downhill so fast, without much reason.

Threatening pug against Red Templars in the Elven Ruins. Pugs wanted to hold starting zone, so I complied because my Elementalist likes chokepoints. I casted as many Walls of Flame and Firestorms on the entrance as possible while simultaneously damaging the RTC, but shortly after the pugs got rekt. So I fade stepped out and gleefully noticed that the map is wonderful for kiting (the long hallways). Several Walls of Flames and Firestorms later I finished the stage.
Pugs are really becoming one-trick ponies with holding the entrance room. They can't tank the RTC and whenever I aggro him and kite him around in the back, they focus all fire on him only to get destroyed by the adds. Same thing with demons, only faster and more painful I guess.

Two threatening games, two clears
- go team PUGs! ![]()
I don't want to say he's got a massive OPenis, but Elementalist could star in pr0no films...
Pity he's got really annoying speech comments.

They always seem to want to chokepoint the DC, not understanding it'll just freaking dig under the doors.

Solid
I was a Necro, with a Templar, Arcane Warrior (who later swiched to Archer), and Archer (who later turned to Keeper). It was on Threatening, and we ran a few matches together. Always cleared, and though we got knocked down occasionally nobody ever went down 3 times in a match. Solid teamwork, we let the Templar get the aggro and draw them in while I bombed the mooks and the archer took care of the stronger enemies. Worked wonderfully. 10/10 would pug again.

intelligent.
They knew to clump together when barrier was low, and we even went 3/3 against all factions on threatening. I think the reaver was the only person to go down, and even that was once.
Give those pugs a medal.

Confusing
DC died and my group got stuck at the rotating victory screen for around 5 minutes only to respawn back behind the 5/5 Gate as if it were never opened. ![]()

Had a level 12 Keeper in my last game that only ever cast Chain Lightning, no other spells at all. Finally, after killing the DC, they cast barrier right before the victory screen....They had it the whole time but never used it. Maybe just wanted the extra challenge or something.

Doesn't make any sense as the Venatori Archers which have a bigger move set and actively try to Kite are far easier to deal with than the Red Templar 400 damage out of Line of sight Marksmen. Seems to me the Red Templar faction and the Demon Commander are extremely buggy. (Sometimes the Demon Commander will spam his fear scream and one shot, other times he'll stand completely still for about 10 seconds looking dumb)

Dual-wielding.
Finally unlocked the Templar and the Assassin. The Templar's alright, but I prefer the Legionnaire. The Templar seems more for helping with DPS than drawing aggro.
As for the Assassin, I'm really glad I saved a pair of unique daggers I got from some chests I bought. One dual-bladed and one stabby dagger. Threw the dual-bladed dagger on my Assassin's main hand and kept the stabby dagger on the off-hand, so slash attacks galore! Once Twin Fanged a Venatori archer and he was surrounded by 2 others. He died instantly and since the ability for my double-bladed dagger is that enemies explode on death, the archer blew up and his buddies were one-shotted too. Instant 3 Kill-Streak!
Granted, that was on Routine. Still leveling before I'll jump to Threatening with her.
Speaking of Threatening, I did a few matches at my Keeper. Got thrown into a lobby with a Reaver and 2 Archers and stuck around with them for a while. The Reaver was busy grabbing aggro and I focused on DPS and Barrier-spamming while the Archers helped the Reaver kill things. Worked well too- we extracted a few times. Would pug again.

Routine runs to initially relevel my Legionnaire. The team (all archer / mages) let's me actually pull the initial aggro. 4 Templar commanders went down with little effort.

Was going great til my game crashed for the 2nd time today. Of course it's only natural that a rare efficient and successful pug game would end in my game crashing. Can't make things too easy now.

Sigh. I couldn't move unless using abilities, lucky I had fade step and spirit blade, still did very little damage. I've encountered this particular bug more times than I'd care to admit. Makes me feel like a chump, not helping the team to the best of my ability. ![]()

Leveling my AW again. Threatening - keeper, lego and an archer.
Never saw guard on lego (or using invul or something). He was 'dealing damage'. And going down faster than a... I don't want to make a comparison.
Never saw the keeper cast even one barrier. He was 'dealing damage'.
Archer was pretty great though, basically the two of us cleared it. Then the leader (lego) set it to perilous since 'the team was good'. I left.

I aggro'd and kited the Red Templar commander in the back of the entrance. Then all three pugs got killed and I got rushed by all the enemies. Apparently, the pugs were fighting the enemies in front of the chokepoint.
You had one job ...

.................. what?
Alright, so I unlocked the Arcane Warrior and the Alchemist and decided to take the AW out for a spin. Landed in a lobby with 2 pugs that had mics and a third who remained mute. The 2 guys with mics were just chatting along and started complaining when either me or the 3rd pug went down (the 3rd pug was using a low-level character and I was still trying to adjust to the AW, not to mention the damn Red Templar Shadows kept getting me). Apparently they didn't know that you weren't guaranteed to stay standing the entire match even on Routine.
Anyway, to the messed up part. I was listening to the 2 pugs chatting along (this was after a couple matches and a new 3rd pug) and idk why, but one of the pugs basically said that anyone who's thinking about suicide doesn't deserve to live because they don't want to 'deal with their problems like a man.' Just.......... what?
They soon went on to other topics and we did a couple more matches before the 2 left to make a new lobby (mostly due to lagging issues during the last match we did). Honestly, I was pretty annoyed with them by that point because all they did was complain about why they hated playing with randoms. Seriously, if you don't want pugs in your lobby, set it to private. Then again....... * points to profile pic *

Was just playing against templars with my assassin, and on the last wave i had about 2 seconds to notice everyone else was down before the templar commander killed me, despite that being the first time I got knocked down! (not sure if bug or if one of his moves can actually do that).
After that two of the downed players somehow got back up and lasted about 10 seconds before dying again. Weird...

Well, since I haven't actually finished a match today, I'll list all the ones I've attempted to play.
First match seemed fine at first, a bit laggy but otherwise not a bad run. We make it to area three of the Orlesian Chateu and right away I can tell it's one of those matches. The door was missing and I could see the fourth and fifth areas, because they all had no environment other than a misleading floor mesh. That was a lost cause, and since I couldn't see enemies, I was as good as dead to my team mates, so I left.
Match two, different team. I load in, start moving around and then bam, crash to desktop. Righto DAMP, I get it, you don't want me to play today. I'll do something productive, like not play DAMP. /sulks
I'm a sucker for punishment, so an hour later I decide to play again. Match three, I load in and can't move. Rargh, why Multiplayer, why are you doing this to me? Have I not sacrificed enough golden nugs to please you, oh Multiplayer Gods?
Despite these less than amusing bugs, I'm enjoying the game immensely (otherwise I wouldn't be sticking around). So hopefully my next match is one that I can make it to the end with. One thing I've noticed though, is that if I host, the only bug I've encountered is the crash to desktop one. If someone else is the host, well, I'm in for a fun time. Anyway, off to my fourth match in the hopes that my pleading has appeased the Multiplayer Gods. ![]()

Although one migration was welcome as we had defeated all the enemies in an area of the Chateau but no key had dropped.
So, stuck.
When the last game dumped to desktop I just gave up.
