I tried to sneak in with a level 1 lego in threatening over the weekend, was caught out quick, booted, rats. But on the plus side I now know how to kick people mid game.

Had a few runs today. I had a mic and three others didn't.
I played a Legionnaire tank (there was another but he musta been DPS kind since he didn't keep aggro or build up guard at all) and clearly told the others it'd be nice for them to get behind me so I could learn my tanking.
All three went out in the open while I said them that I'll just guard the doorway as that's my job. When two of the three fell I had to join the fight and revive them. We nearly wiped.

After the fight I left so I don't know how they fared afterwards.
I was kinda being a douche there not playing with the team majority, but for God's sakes, two of the guys were ranged (Keeper and Ele) so it wouldn't have been a loss for them to fight from behind me.

Got Druffalo'd.  Had managed to avoid the mangy beasts for the most part until one game last eve.  I tried to revive a leroy jenkins player and Druffy turned his attention to me.  He hit me when I had just a sliver of red left and I was nothing but a streak on the ground as he ploughed me an unreal distance.

I don't ever mind lvl 1's joining in threatening, most of the time an experienced lvl 1 can do a lot more damage than a lvl 15+without skills..  

 

We had a lvl 19 Keeper just doing his/her own thing and running past a few members of our party who were blowing bubbles so it was up to me to revive them and hold off attackers, ended up with a RTC Sword planted in my back because of this, sadly smashing my spine and killing me instantly, while in the fade I could hear the Keeper saying 'Here Please..' as she was cut to shreds.. my ghost managed a little smile before I was taken by the fade... Left lobby after that and had some real good matches..

If a level 1 joins a threatening lobby I'll open their gamer profile to see how may DAI hours they have.

If it's a decent number, no issue.

I also never mind a Level 1 in my Threatening game, especially a Legionnaire that has Payback Strike and can turtle behind Shield Wall.

I'm a derp I only discovered how to check out the team line-up mid game this weekend, check their profiles, mute em, kick em etc. *nods at Jer*

 

If only I knew how to do this a few weeks ago, also it's pretty funny seeing the red skulls lining up on folks who ignore opening doors for some players.

My last DAMP PUG made me think that if someone wanted barrier enough to get loud in public chat about it, they would take the time to stand near the keeper (me) long enough for the cast to go off.

 

For once, I stopped playing for the evening because of a$$holes and not technical problems...

That would've involved actually reaching for the headset. Way too much effort when I could just barrier myself and watch the Katari charge off to his death.

 

All in all, I've been getting into lobbies with some good folks lately though. While doing the challenges, I was primarily running the keeper so I could cage the druffalos and /dance. People were grouping by me for barriers before charging off. Had an easier time when everyone was in the 9-11 range than last night's games where everyone was 17+ just because of how folks were playing.  #goteamwork
