I joined a Threatening match in progress as a level 14 Templar. The other players were... pretty terrible, actually, so I was basically solo'ing with WrathPurge.
We got to Zone 5 and one of them WOULD NOT get in the circle. He stayed at the entrance door. So, I sent him a message (laboriously typed out on XBOX 360's virtual keyboard). Nothing. I used the "get over here" button a few times. Nope.
I then typed out messages to both of the other two players (who were in the circle) asking them to kick the apparently absent guy. No response.
Well, you know what? Screw these guys. I'm not leaving this match.
I start spamming "get over here" as fast as possible.
When I get tired of that I submit XBOX Live player reviews for all three of the other players. ("Avoid", obviously.) Then I start sending the one guy messages asking him to get in the circle.
After about 10 minutes he finally does. I quickly tap "A" to plant the flag before he can change his mind.
This is against Venatori on the Elven Ruins map with the covered walkways around the outside, so not too hard if I can avoid archer death squads. Two of the other players (including the guy who wouldn't get in the circle) go down and I mentally laugh while they bleed out. The remaining other player is a Keeper, so he was able to stay alive for a while with Barrier before he too went down.
I teabag him a few times, then watch him bleed out.
I then proceed to solo out the Venatori in the most painfully slow way possible.
I used Shield Wall to gain full guard from the archers and soldiers while running away from the brutes and commander.
I never WrathPurge anything; I get all my kills with auto-attacks and the occasional Shield Bash.
I save the Venatori Commander for last, so as to maximize the number of other spawns.
Eventually it's just the Commander. I decide that I will only attack her after I have full guard, which isn't too tough to get against her.
Of course each attack cycle only barely gets through her barrier and plinks her health before she Fade Steps away and regains full barrier. At which point I decide I need full guard again before it's safe to attack her. (Not REALLY, but I was trolling those other three a$$holes hard.)
Finally I kill the Commander.
The game took 35 minutes.
All three of those guys were still in the lobby.
I hope they enjoyed the experience.
