Did a match as my Reaver on Threatening. Ended up on the Orlesian Chateau against the Red Templars with a level 11 Necromancer and high-level Alchemist. Loaded in and the Alchemist was waiting near the first door while the Necromancer (host) was just standing there and I walked over to the Alchemist. I noticed that the Alchemist had starter armor, but higher-level daggers, so I decided to just go ahead and clear the zone. Got a wyvern right off the bat and roflpwned it, but the rest of the mooks went straight after the Necromancer (seems like the host is more likely to get targeted by enemies for some reason), so we ended up chasing them down. The Necro dropped and didn't move, but I revived them anyway after tearing the mooks a new one because XP.
As we made our way back into the zone, a Hunter dropped in. I noticed that they had the starter armor as well and had the LBotG equipped. We cleared the zone pretty easily, and dragged the Necro to the next one with no change in their activity (or lack thereof). The Alchemist tossed me a message saying to kick the Necro, so I did before resuming the slaughter. They must've also messaged the Hunter because the Necro was soon kicked. We loaded back in and it turned out I was host, and a Katari had dropped into the match (he had a low-level maul and I think he might've had the starter armor considering how much damage he was taking). We cleared the following zones fairly easily, the Alchemist dropping once. We got to the last zone and I told everyone to follow me after we planted the banner, ending up in the hall on the left side of the zone.
I started Rampaging away once the bulk of the adds appeared and the Alchemist dropped fairly quickly. I went to take out the archer that were taking potshots at us and, for some reason, the Katari and the Hunter ignored the Alchemist until just before they bled out. I had to use one of my health potions due to the archers all targeting me, but we managed to wipe out the mobs, leaving Samson. I'd been kiting Samson for a bit, trying to keep him off the rest of the team, but I noticed that the Katari and the Alchemist were both in the Fade, so it was just me and the Hunter vs. Samson, and I was almost dead. I popped a health potion, went into Rampage mode, and started hacking away. I managed to get him down to his second potion before he did his triple-sword-slam on me from a bit of a distance away. The first one I managed to evade, but the second one got me, as did the third, which almost took me down. I managed to get up just in time for him to slap me upside the head with his sword, and I dropped.
The Hunter kited him a bit and took forever with the revive even though he had plenty of time. Once I got back up, it was all over for Samson. Rampage -> a few basic attacks to get my health maxed -> Dragon Rage -> dead Samson. Victory.
Still kind of odd that people were using high-level weapons with starter armor. ![]()
people are getting really lazy now..
they dont want to hit the door to teleport me to the next zone anymore.
they demand that i walk over there too.
the nerve of some people
Here Friend!
I had a few smooth Perilous pugs playing my keeper and archer. No room unopened, and no gold left behind.Just like I like it.
i really like this pirate lass.

She certainly has a big hat ![]()
She certainly has a big hat
that she does.
Played a few pugs this morning. They were full of fail. The problem was that I was the source of the fail.
My first match I was the Templar but somehow had a 110dps weapon equipped. I had two Isabellas in the party that carried the team.
Next match, realizing I could craft the new armors, I hastily made the armor for Skywatcher and equipped the CORRECT weapons and Accessories. But went in with a lvl 1 character that I had zero experience with. Proceeded to die over and over again and got faded in 5/5. IIRC correctly the two isabellas were good players that I had played with before (but werent on the friends list) so I'm sure they think I'm terrible.
Sonofbarak: I've seen you post on here before. I'm sorry for being bad! ![]()
"Whoa, whoa whoa whoa!" Those were my exact words as one Red Trampler assassin killed three of the party including me standing close together in one attack. We had two avarr, a lego and a bango picker in the group on threatening and were just SAILING through the game, better yet I finally found a group that liked opening treasure doors. Then poof! Three of us dead and he banjo picker runs away and of course was killed seconds later.
Wasn't exactly a pug but... opened the dragon chest and got the 1 character I wanted last; Skywatcher. Level 1 squishy. I made a private match just so I didn't tick off other players learning his ropes. Went down in Zone 3 to a Revenant. I dun like him. I wan my Isabela. *whine*

Well a revenant.... They are about the toughest one on oners in the game.

Isabela's armour's not as demanding of cloth as Zither...
I wanted to make them all but there is no chance I spend that much material when I am waiting to open 100+ chests. I did however make higher end for ZITHER!.
Orlesian armor is brown base with green tunic, in case anyone is wondering what the colours are. I'd post a picture but I'm at work
a castle full of bad guys, a dragon and dragonlings are still not enough to kill the mighty arcane warrior
whole team died multiple times. but that only made the game easier. although it was long and boring.

Satisfying.
Had time to get one match in since I spent all the rest of my gaming time blowing a load in the store on a gold shopping spree. A friend and I grab two PUGs and try out the Ferelden Castle, of course, to see the new map and do a dragon fight.
My first and only dragon fight so far, and it was a victory! A victory with my friend and a PUG down and dead, the other PUG hurting, and my own health very low... but the dragon's health was lower and my little Luka managed to save the day by defeating the great beast.

Granted, she was Level 16. Granted, she was on Routine. But dadgummit, first dragon in MP slain. I'mma happy about that and look forward to trying a Threatening soon. Probably tomorrow. Unless I get distracted. Or something.
Spent today practicing with Zither and Isabela. Getting decent, still have to work on switching songs in the heat of things.
One run in particular stuck out while I was playing my Isabela, there was a Zither in my pug group who would not cast any songs, none. Zilch. Zero.
Except for the 3 fire note one.
That's all he spammed, he wouldn't even use the barrier song to save himself when he got swarmed in zone 5 and we all died. I know the classes are new and people are getting the hang of things, but damn man, there are other buttons on your controller! Press them!
I have to thank nice pugs for letting me set my personal killstreak record:48 ![]()
Btw,we somehow missed the dragon fight ![]()
Interesting run in Chateau, open the door and there is poison gas everywhere! I really like that twist, 2 of us on Routine though, took it in turns to deal with single targets, with a big mob you can drop the Veil Fire torch and fight (your health slowly goes down though) Its just fun to just see enemies appear from the mist, waiting for a Druffie to come out of the mist and carry someone off into the poison cloud!
Just like to give a shout out to all the people out there who have been enabling me to bring the house down!
I was in a group earlier today that consistently broke LoS, stayed in my bubble*, and were decent enough to let me pop around the corner and spam Power Chords to take down the ranged cluster before they regained LoS. All this without dying (mostly). Sorry Avaar! I hope you guys had fun because I had a blast! ![]()
*I think that Virtuosos and their bandmates have a shared responsibility in regards to staying in the bubble. Push the front, melee darlings, I'll even speed buff you!
