Was debating whether to play another few games or go to bed, figured I'd open a couple chests and if I got something good I'd stay up, if not I'd go to bed. First chest nothing, second chest, finally got a Sulevin blade.

*sigh* I guess my PC is telling me to go to bed since the game crashed right at the start of a match. That makes the fourth CTD today, which can be...frustrating.
Start of an elven ruins map versus Demons. I see a couple of the Wraiths shooting at something behind the door and thought to myself, "Oh they must be shooting at an animal or something."
I charge forward with my new Avvar and bash into them and as I charge through the door, my screen is replaced with a freaking BEAR.
"OH GOD! I WAS RIGHT! I WAS RIGHT!"
lolNoFrames4U
That's one word to describe my last match, but it wasn't too bad. ![]()
Entered a Threatening lobby with my Level 16 Katari. Overkill, yes, but I just wanted a nice, quick, easy Threatening match done before I had to go check on dinner. Saw a Level 8 Archer, a Level 8 Virtuoso, and a Level 9 Virtuoso. Now, I remembered what happened the last time I was in a match with two Virtuosos, but since it was Orlesian Chateau instead of the Ferelden Castle, I readied up and figured we'd be okay.
Host switches it to Perilous.
I sigh. With them being lower level and ready to do Threatening, then I enter and they decide to bump it up, my immediate assumption is that they think I'll carry them. Which is a terrible conclusion for them to jump to, as I'm not really that great at Perilous, honestly speaking. I came *this* close to leaving and finding another Threatening lobby because the last thing I wanted (and didn't have time for) was a long, painful, dragged-out attempt at soloing. But I ultimately decided to try anyway because, hey, two Virtuosos, and readied up.
Holy hell, two Virtuosos in a party is literally the most OP thing ever. EVER.
My Katari was constantly hastened and barriered and basically in-freaking-vincible the entirety of the match. We opened all the treasure rooms and got glorious, glorious cloth. And then Zone 5 was basically the biggest clusterf**k of success I have ever seen. We had demons, so we basically just all stood huddled together in a group hug and I spammed reload-cancel on my greatsword for five minutes while the ZITHER!s did their thing and everything died. Took a little while, though, because THAT was when the framerates ragequit from too much ZITHER! awesomeness.
That was probably the easiest Perilous match I've ever encountered. Also probably one of the only times I've gotten the Immortal medal on that difficulty, too. The only death was the Archer twice, and that was it.
Goodness gracious alive! Went in thinking they wanted me to carry them, but came out actually being the one who was carried! ![]()
10 dragons and nothing.
let me at least get a stamina amulet
I tried to join a perilous match and was kicked from the game.
I was playing Lego.....maybe not cool enough?
I get that too, joined a lobby with my lvl 20 keeper and got skulls appearing on my banner, I wouldn't kick a lvl 20 keeper from my Peri lobbies, I need them barriers!, probably a group of friends who are not clever enough to select private match.
Spent all night with perilous dragons.
Sounds like a pretty kinky and exhausting night.

Nice! I finally got mine last week as well. The hype is understandable.
It really is, that proc goes off quite often and man does that make crowds easy to kill. I have been messing around with the Avvar, I'd charge into a room and start spamming a few abilities, all enemies would be dead and I'd have a 15 kill streak before anyone could even follow in behind me. Of course this only worked for waves 1-4, 5 didn't go so well. May need to use that damage reduction ability rather than the fire jump.
A pure horror show of gaming experience last night for the most part. (I did have a couple of decent games.)
Enter an ongoing dragon castle game as an archer, play though the whole level picking off enemies and keeping the mages/rogues clean. Right at the end of the level a player gets on the mic and declares. "The bard guy that gives us barriers wants to get in on the game, we got to kick the archer." Poof! Kicked from the game (I loathe this game play decision by BioWare.)
Then about 5 you have failed to connects in a row.
Next game, battle through another dragon level game for multiple levels, next level? Narnia. Had to quit that one as well.
Next game, play though the whole game this time back on threatening and win the match...uh -oh....the game is thinking too long post match. We have had a server error, back to the lobby, no experience your you!

I've seen this too much lately.

Shakes head.
Not really a pug since it was a private game but for once I managed to get a group together for perilous dragons. Such glory when my katari bashed the frost wyrm's skull in with a mighty blow.
Got my perilous banner too, now everyone in a lobby will now how elite I am ![]()
killed dragon
and disconnect
ok
whatever
FC, Cold Dragon, Threatening, Demons
Not everyone knew...or wanted to do the whole 'take cover from the dragon and kill everything' method so the poor Virtuoso is having to run around on Zone 4 trying to barrier spam the melee standing on the stairs and save the Avaar who takes all the spirit bolts to the face (we let him die on Zone 3 for a similar offense) while I'm pewpewing from the balcony room. That probably would've been fine except that they took the time to rez the Avaar...and then Argent goes down...and then the Avaar goes into the Fade so guess who has two Pride demons and a bunch of other lesser demons breathing down their neck? Me! Okay, that's still fine, I've got CALTROPS, so I can't lose, right? Wrong! I do a Leaping Shot right after the Dragon pounds me with a ball of ice, I'm low on health, the demons are rushing the door, I hit another Leaping Shot just as one of the Pride Demons is prepping his Lightning Whip and I get punted off the back of the balcony into a snowdrift out of bounds.
Dead, crawling toward the cliff edge hoping for a teleporter hole only to discover it's not really a cliff, but a delightfully sloping hillside into the sea complete with little yellow wildflowers. Unrezzable, I fall into the Fade and the Virtuoso succumbs. End Match.
It's like SP all over again!
Not too bad. Did a Ferelden/Perilous as a Lego w/ two Duelist and an Archer against Red Templars. Went well. Color me surprised since most Perilous PUGs fall apart on on Zone 4 due to archers, but these fine folks stood behind me while I made like an armadillo and picked the whole zone apart with range attacks. Poetic justice.
Did everyone in my region quit? I can't even find a perilous lobby.
Lol lag > virtuoso. I couldn't even queue up chords, it would randomly fail to register. My mana bar appeared to be stuck on full even when empty. I had no idea how much barrier my allies had. Frozen enemies everywhere. Extracted a couple of times, tried to find new host. Joining failed 7x. Gave up and went to solo as AW. I
SP.
I had a glitch where I was playing as my Virtuoso on the Ferelden Castle vs. the ice dragon and none of my songs ended up using mana. I literally just spammed Barrier when people needed it, and Hot Licks when everyone had full Barrier. I felt invincible. ![]()
No idea how it happened, though. ![]()
Finally found a perilous lobby! Frost dragon. started with a level 20 Duelist, Elementalist and Arcane Warrior plus me as a level 16 Elementalist.
AW lagged out in zone 4 right after we rang the gong.
Luckily both the duelist and elementalist know wtf they were doing and took cover in a choke point. I kept barrier up and running the entire fight with firestorm and firewall raining down like Satan's breath. I think I got the entire battle recorded too. Gotta check later - may post if I do because it was by far the most fun I've had in a while.
I love how this thread got started a whole month before the game comes out. Now, we just need a "Those BSNers that you happen to bump into" thread.
Whats a BSNer? ![]()
