Wow. Two CTD's in a row, both as I was loading into a match. That's the first time I've had that happen (yes, I realize I'm luckier than some). I'm going to try and run a repair game, see if there was a fubar in the files. Hopefully that will put an end to that (yes, I know I'm overly optimistic).

Do you have some kind of superspeed optic fiber internet? Because I want it too. Every single time there's a virtuoso in my lobby it's either laggy as balls or host crashes so I tend to avoid those lobbies.  And the person who sent you messages most likely has had similar experiences.

 

95% of the matches I play are off-host (had bad experiences with hosting on ME3 MP) and my internet derps quite a bit, so it's not the best.  All the matches I've played with pugs with/as a Virtuoso have given me no issues.  Not sure if it's sheer luck or not, tbh.

 

And maybe, but since there hadn't been any issues during the entire match, he didn't really have any reason to auto-kick me just because I didn't instantly go with everyone to the banner.  If I hadn't moved for a few minutes, then I would understand, but I was standing there less than half a minute.

I had a similar run in with sonofbarak (hes posted on here a handful of times) landed in a pug with him and proceeded to watch him decimate everything in his path while casually chatting to someone else in the lobby. It was really funny to see.

 

Really?  Damn, I've run into him quite a few times while pugging and never knew he was on here.

Fortunately double zithering doesn't happen much to me. Or unfortunately.....

Invincibility is always nice after all but slo no fighting, not so much.

Zither lag seems random. I've had it twice (loved the slideshow) and I've seen over a dozen zithers in various games.

Dropped into a Threatening match on the Ferelden Castle with a level 9 Avvar, a level 16-17 Avvar, and a level 20 Hunter as my level 19 Keeper.  We get to zone 4 and I drop a Disruption Field on a pair of archers (Red Templars) as the Avvar smash them into paste.

 

Level 9 Avvar: "What's that?"

 

Level 16-17 Avvar: "Oh, that's the orb that protects you from damage!  You have to stay in it!"

 

The funny thing is, the 2 Avvar actually proceeded to stand in the Disruption Field until it dissipated.  

 

Other than that one moment, they seemed like they knew what they were doing.  Priming the trebuchets before the dragon landed on the towers, sticking together for the most part, dealing damage, etc.  Good group overall.

Really need to find groups who understand standing int the courtyard on zone 4 and getting hit from all sides is a bad survival plan. I think when I sit in a side room and call them over they get confused as there is no door to open and the, twice, run back into the kill zone outside.

All you can really do is solo in those situations...or leave the game and let them lose.

Tried to host a public castle lobby again but nope, crashed in zone 4 like always. Why my connection can't handle that particular zone is beyond me. So sorry ps3 eu players, I'd help us all to some dragon kills for the extended challenge and some sweet loot on the side but it looks like the game doesn't want me to.

I have some true PUG Perilous matches this morning (Just me hosting, and patiently awaiting whomever joined), managed to complete the agent challenge playing as ZITHER!

 

No lewtz though, but that is fine.

I had a really good Perilous match with a Templar, an Archer, a Virtuoso and me as Keeper. The Templar started wondering whether or not he set the right difficulty. Went through the first four zones of the Tevinter Ruins without taking any considerable amount of damage. Archer went into the Fade during the last zone, since we were getting mobbed by Venatori. Took a lot longer than usual to get the Venatori Commander down.

 

If I could actually get some better armor for my Keeper instead of the Lego or Reaver or a thousand useless staves and bows that would be great.

Was having the worst luck with perilous PUGs, and it's been 84 years since i pulled out a purple out of a store chest... Then suddenly Sulevin Blade out of a random hidden room chest.... Okay, I'm sorry, I will never skip a single one ever again.

 

Also played some DogeBall - all in all fun night.

Joined a perilous Ferelden Castle PUG yesterday. An excellent second run got interrupted by one player needing to help his gf do something quickly. The rest of us were taking cover in an airlock while waiting so I thought I should have my Zither! provide some musical relief.

Shortly into my random plunking serenade, the Reaver and Avar players began spamming the right Dpad comments. This continued until the fourth player returned and we continued until killing the dragon... No purples:(

Finally get some time to play this weekend. My connection sucks. Blackscreenblackscreenblackscreenblackscreenblaclscreenblackscreenblackscreenblackscreen. Solo'd a threatening fire dragon. Not as fun as actual SP.

My mighty Avvar, a keeper that actually kept barrier going, a Lego that tanked and an archer that possessed spatial awareness (not one death)!

Oh and they prepped and used the trebuchets well too!

Nothing short of a miracle for a PUG, went like clockwork. Sadly nothing but a superb rune from the dragon though, I can't move without tripping over those things.

I finally did some Perilous matches today for the first time. Went Keeper as it's my best class and I knew I'd be pulling my weight. Overall I had a lot of fun! We won every time and I got the Virtuoso out of it at least.

Playing perilous on FC. Zone 4. My Katari dies at the top of the stairs. Only a duelist left alive with roughly 10000 archers firing at her. Issy pops her unyielding, revives me then dies herself. I use a potion and take cover in the tower. I hide around the corner until all the enemies are bunched up, then I use Earthshaking strike, charging bull and mighty blow. 10 killstreak. I rez issy and we clear the zone. Then we kill the dragon. I get staff of the dragon, my party member gets greatsword of the dragon. Sh*t was f*ckin awesome.

I got multiple kicks last night. Lots of newer players=more kicks. Putting up the perilous banner didn't seem to spare me.

Late join (they were on zone 3) as level 7 duelist (threatening) to see all three teammates down (last one must have gone down as I loaded in). Don't make it to him in time and check scoreboard after clutching (basically soloing) the zone. I have a kick vote.

 

Paid it no mind, clutched/soloed zone 4 as well. All my teammates go down in zone 5 and immediately enter the fade. Finish off DC and the last few trash mobs. 

 

Scoreboard: Me on top with second place (level 10 keeper) trailing by 1500.

 

Reenter lobby - I have 2 kick votes. Don't bother to get my mic since not a single one of them has banners, so I assume they're new. Surprisingly load in  and finish the first three zones but I don't use my dragon call with this party. Someone pulls us to zone 4, archer and keeper both go down  because apparently fighting in the middle of the room is a good strategy when facing red templar archers. Try to save the necromancer but fail, finish clearing the zone 4 by myself -> kicked right before I finish off the last couple mobs.

 

Blocked all three.

 

Why the hell would you cry about and kick a level 7 duelist practically carrying you in threatening? I'd done a lot more damage than any of them...

 

Oh, best line ever on Routine FC Frost Dragon right as we spawn in. 

 

"No offense guys but with your levels you really shouldn't be playing this map."

 

Myself on a level 8 duelist with one promote on the character, level 4 keeper with perilous banner, level 1 lego, and him as a level 14 reaver...

 

Still topped the leaderboard by over 1000.

Just remembered the pug we run into with friend while attempting perilous. Pug was playing some sort of insane kamikaze Alchemist, who kept dying and self reviving throughout zones 1 and 2 like "nothing to see here". Then on zone 3 they went to the lower level with doors and spammed over here, so we went to see what´s up. They then laid elemental mine field around the ladder and waited. We assumed there is some kind of master plan in play, so we waited with them, in silence, holding our breath. 

No one came. We waited......

Then finally, some archers started to go down the ladder to party. And the Alchemist went and opened the door and chest and released Arcane Horror.

Had some great Perilous matches with Altbouli over the weekend, now got a Staff of the Dragon, Dagger of the Dragon and another bow of cruel redemption!
