Hi All:  Since the release I can't stop making characters for DA:O, so far I have 24 (delete 3 so far) on this site.  I wondering if this is happening to anyone else lol, can't stop making characters?

I made about six or seven and then got the feeling that I'd pretty much seen all there was to see in the generator, even if I hadn't made all the possible combinations as completed characters. No need to make more.

count is at 14 now.. all in all there´s some variation, beside the limited classes and looks.

I've been tampering around with it quite a bit, though I've only saved this character, and one that I was goofing off with.



Also, why'd you make another account, Nikblade? I was confused when I got another friend request with the same dwarf.

Only have about 5. I prefer to have a smaller amount, makes it less of a hassle to go back and make small changes to each character.

I've only made one(a human), but I've messed around with a handful of elves, and one dwarf.



So yeah, the tool is pretty fun. You can't get burnt out yet though, release is still three weeks away!

I keep making them, but not uploading them. I've only uploaded the 2 that I'm considering starting with.

I've made 13 thus far, I think I'm done. one was just an experiment, the others are my playthroughs. I don't think I'm going to make anymore, though. Just edit the ones I have if I feel it's needed, or if I find something that bothers me.

1.) Nikblade is an ancient account that I don't use anymore, but it's what was tied to all my Bioware games (aka I played NWN multiplayer using Nikblade as my login) so I just used it to make my initial account. AClockworkMelon is what I use for everything that I've done in... oh, I don't know, the past two years? xD

2.) I was told that in order to get the Lucky Stone you'd have to log into DA with the same account you used to upload characters with on these forums. For 360 users, that means your xbox live account (microsoft passport account) needs to be tied to the one on the forums. Well, I use my Clockwork email for my 360, not the old Nikblade one. So I made this account so that I could hopefully get my stone. I'm still not even entirely sure what I should do to ensure that I get it. I don't even know if similar emails is how they tie together. *Shrug.*

I keep going in to mess around with my elf (darn flat-ears keeps looking too human, no matter what I do... ah, well, in his heart he pretends to be interested in the Dalish), and I've made one other char. per origin.

I try to make 1 of each class, race, sex, noble or not, bad or good. But I think I have my characters I want to use for DA:O tho.

I don't know how many I've made, but I've only saved five. They'll cover my first 3 or 4 playthroughs, and I'll decide who else I need to make after I get a better feel for the game.

I edit mine periodically, but there is only so much you can do. I have 1 for each of the origins I plan to play plus my token ugly dwarf.

I found that I have trouble making a character unless i can think of a personality and backstory for that character beforehand. After seven characters now, I'm having trouble making them believable to me.



Also, I found that the characters I made fit into a nice little team, if they could all play together at once.

Haha, so true. I'm supposed to be working and all I want to do is open the CC and tinker with my characters.... Very addictive.

The CC isnt that amzing for me to create that many, maybe it's because of Aion, which has an amzing CC which tople DAO's with ease. But the CC of DAO is still good enough for me to make 6 characters

more the better,in my case two is enough for now,switching character in gameplay broke the plots,the first gameplay is always unique,i start with my mage first finish the game them try another class.
