After so many years have passed, isn't it time the people try to help heal the Blighted lands of Ferelden?

I thought it would be a funny side adventure to introduce nug farms on the surface to heal the places like Lothering. Varric once said it would be embarrassing to let the nug wranglers move topside from Orzammar. But what if some enterprising farmer discovered that nug droppings can help heal the soil faster. Nugs on the surface turn out healthier than those underground. So what if a new trade was established to shepherd packs of nugs around the main roads of the south? They spread their waste to the affected areas, while mature nugs are sent back to Orzammar for food.

If nug **** could heal the tainted land then the Deep Roads wouldn't be tainted in first place and the dwarves likely wouldn't be dying out.

The Deep Roads and abandoned thaigs appear to mostly be made of rock. Except for Cadash Thaig I have not seen any evidence that they have soil except for the Dust Town areas. Also the food on the surface might be better for them.

No, We shepherd his brethren across the lands and then sell them back to Orzammar. Everybody wins!

I was sure before the Blight they were a whole lot more rare. Should ask a Warden about that, if killing Archdemons leaves nugs all over. And the poor things don't seem built for anywhere. I mean, they feed on anything, but they blister in the desert and freeze in the snow, and they're easier to track than your own arse. Everything eats them (except me, the hands put me off), yet they thrive. Randy bastards outpace every tooth and claw.

Anyway, my point is, the ones around the farm are so inbred, they're five colors and can't stop peeing. I'm selling them in the capital as "elusive eastern bunny-pigs." What did Father say about idiots with deep pockets?

—Excerpt from the private letters of "Captain" Byrne, lap-nug dealer, produced in evidence after seven claims of Water Terrors and death following bites in the Garden District, 9:36

This codex could support my idea that nug poop can help cleanse the land from the Taint. If breeders herded their nugs around the Imperial Highway then maybe the land around it would heal faster. Of course, some nugs would get lost along the way.

Surely you're mad, remember the Battle of Squealing Plains? They'll overbreed, and infest the non blighted areas, throwing the equillibrium of countless ecosystems off balance.

According to the codex they can't survive crossing the harsh Frostback Mountains and everything eats them. Enterprising hunters can use the runts to draw out Blighted animals and kill them. Win win!

I had already imagined the massive influx of nugs was because Leliana got someone to do some magic ritual trying to clone Schmooples (Schmooples needed friends). That was why Schmooples was gone too.

But now I'm gonna add this too, I think. It was all a master plan to feritilze Ferelden, with her army of nug clones. Except Schmooples died. :(
