Thanks. It was something I entered in a contest on deviantart.com, though the artwork belongs to fishbone76

I know she's not my type and all (wrong tree and all of that) but I still liked her character. They could have made her go both ways and I'm sure that lots of guys would not have complained. She has a wonderful voice, looks fabulous, and has just enough geek to be delightful - on top of having really good character.

Hope it isn't going to go too much OT, but...I still can't understand why people were so upset about the ending, and not so upset about the fact that the most important decision in ME2 (saving or not the Collector base) is annoyingly IRRELEVANT....apart from a minimal difference in War Effort points, and more Destroy/Control avaliability depending of what you choose.
I nearly haven't seen it commented....nowhere! And the difference should have been enormous! Cerberus had all the frekin' Collector tech at their disposal if the base was saved, damnit!

Because it can make a difference. Unfortunately, due to it being so easy to get enough WA's to get the higher EMS endings, you will have a harder time seeing the difference.
In the low-EMS finale [getting to the choice room with a low enough WA #], your decision regarding the collector base will determine which ending you can get.
Saved the Collector Base? here is your only choice in the ending:
1. Low-EMS Control
2. Refuse
Destroyed the Collector Base? here is your only choice in the ending:
1. Low-EMS Destroy
2. Refuse
Before the Extended Cut, of course, you didn't have Refuse as an option.

Yeah, it can make a difference...only that it's so ridiculous you deliberately have to to make it wrong in order to have low EMS to notice it.
My point is that the difference is so pathetic that it should have generated more rage that it has. I was seriously expecting big differences between from both ME2's finales, like different Cerberus faction enemies, or troops upgraded with visible Collector tech, making them more difficult, or at least different to fight with. A completely different setup on the Cronos station mission, maybe with even a Collector cruiser against the Alliance fleet...etc.
I -still- can ignore the fact of Cerberus being all hostile and such to Shepard from the very beginning even if you were a Cerberus loyalist in ME2, but that....

In order for the collector base to have a difference in the ending, ems has to be below 1750

The problem is though that it's a meta-game difference and an arbitrary one at that. The game doesn't broadcast what Collector Base decision unlocks what choice, you have to read through the game's files. Even then it's random.

Not played it for 6 years and decided to redownload it and have a go (along with texture mods naturally).

Where is a paragon interrupt when you need one? ...
Better yet, where is a renegade interrupt?

(insert cheesy line to try to win Kasumi over)
Kasumi you are a master thief... that stole my heart. You can wear one of my hoods if you want.

What are you about to cry?
I am certain you will have a longer role in Mass Effect 3, Kasumi...
Oh wait... damn.

Why couldn't we romance Kasumi? Would've been perfect for my Fem-Shep Infiltrator.
Cos it'd be wrong to romance someone who just recently lost a loved one?
EHEEHEM...Cortez. Oh, wait......
