This is slightly relevant as Bioware is a division of EA, but there will not be a Need For Speed this year, maybe EA will actually listen to their fans this time around, they've been slaughtering a good series for the past 7 years....

Not suprised. The game is pretty much dead since Shift 1 for mos people (for me since Most Wanted). With each year its deeb decreasing in quality, Hot Pursuit remake with zero customization like in previous games (except color change). The Run which was 2h long and offered zero in MP terms,. Then Came out Most Wanted Remake which wasnt bad but it was Burnout in it's purest form but entitled as 'Need for Speed Most Wanted'.
Latest nfs rivals was nothing else as Hot Pursuit from 2010 but only with more customization and more childish drive and shoot style.
Yeah, NFS is pretty much dead.

They need to make a new Porsche Unleashed game and this time with more realistic driving physics. IMO, Porsche Unleashed is still the best Need for Speed game ever made.
EA has held the exclusive Porsche license for a long time and they're practically wasting it away. It's very unfortunate that EA choose to make arcade racers while other developers like Turn 10 have to beg EA and pay a huge premium just to include a few Porsches in their games.

Hot Pursuit from 2010 was the last good NFS.
