And I ask again, where do you know what's in THAT chest from?

I certainly wouldn't have to explain how thematic naming of whatever container medium the MP uses does not imply that the content is the same, or do I?

But if you like going on the premise that I just wanted to say STFU, fine, I can do that:
You know NOTHING about what's in that chest. All you know is that's it's called chest. And you surmised that since this is called chest just like those other chests in MP, that the content has to be equal.

You have absolutely NO substantiated basis for your "it's completely random stuff" argument. Could it be completely random? Yes. Could it be something that's not random? Yes. Could it actually be an exclusive unlock that you can't unlock via regular play of the MP? Yes. Those are the informations that exist right now.

Cute. The we don't know yet argument. We should wait. We can't assume...

Please. Less than a month and they have told us. Deluxe Edition Multiplayer Chest.

It's obvious it's the random looted chest, perhaps with good stuff and labeled with an unique name since it belongs to the deluxe version. Some ME3MP packs were like that, I believe.

From where I stand, you're just looking for a reason to be disappointed and simply went on to assume stuff from incomplete informations and go on to use those assumptions as basis for your own argumentation how that is disappointing.

You're stuck in a self-referential loop.

To make my point clear, I am not arguing with you because I think you're wrong about your assumption towards the nature of said chest's content. The likelyhood it isn't something unique and exclusive is high. In the same notion however, since the MP isn't competitive, there is no reason for balance parity with such items, so it could just aswell be some special stuff, that whilst not necessarily the end all be all kind of unlocks, might well be something substantial.

What I am arguing against is your way of arguing. You can't just go and present assumptions as facts. That is poor form at best and straight out lying at worst. Just because you have low expectations, doesn't mean they are true and neither have you the right to present those disguised as fact.

And the Flames of the Inquisition armor (only the weapons are included with the preorder bonus, not the armor).

So I'm lying because Derek only said Deluxe Multiplayer Chest and I can't assume it contains random loot, like all MP chests in DAI MP?

I'm done with you. I'm sorry, but you're just arguing for the sake of it.

The Origin web site should be updated sometime soon.

I'm done with you. I'm sorry, but you're just arguing for the sake of it.

You phrased your opinion on how it's going to be random loot as a fact.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but when I say there's stuff that I don't know about, but I think it's random and that's a fact is not actually a fact. It's opinion.

So yes, you were lying. You have absolutely no proof for your arguments. You don't know what that chest contains. You don't have the slightest idea about it, yet you go on how disappointing the content is. The funny thing is you never actually countered any of my arguments, you only ever tried to deflect or attack the way that I argued. Should be telling enough how much you actually know when you can't simply link a fact that actually substantiates your claim.

But I affirm your notion that I'm the only one arguing here. Because all you do is flail around with words and random link referrals that have nothing to do with what you're saying. And my argumentation is not for you, it's for the people that might have believed your nonsense.

And I will continue doing so for as long as you press on claiming to know what you're talking about when you evidently don't.

Price difference on origin is $10 USD.

Deluxe includes soundtrack.

Music albums are generally more than $10 USD.

Plus you get other stuff, both for single player and multiplayer.

I dunno, seems like a pretty good deal to me.

Erm ... if you didn't want the physical goodies that come with the IE over the ingame stuff, why did you order the IE in the first place?

Erm I like it well enough, it's pretty sweet stuff but at some point I need decide whether I have the room or it's worth the price point unless there's something Digital extra.

As far as the advertising goes (at least here in the US), there should be no difference between the in-game/digital content of the Deluxe Edition and the Inquisitor's Edition. With the exception of Australia, which gets only the standard edition included in the IE, the IE is the Deluxe Edition + physical extras.

Pre-ordered the deluxe editions based on what was already announced. Seriously, how could i not want my Dalish Inquisitor to ride a halla? And no matter what other thrones we get in game not having the option of big dragon skull one would constantly bother my inner hoarder :)

As someone who isn't really into multi player in any game I'd have preferred something for the single player but its far from being a big deal. If it was going to be something especially cool (like another unique armor set or something) figured it'd have been announced way before now.

A bit sad to hear my DA:I deluxe addition's unannounced digital content is for MP and won't apply to my SP game. However, the other items will soothe my irritation over this very small hiccup!

Thank you for sharing that information, the not knowing was just killllllling me! :)

Seriously hope that multiplayer doesn't have an impact on the outcome of the campaign like it did in Mass Effect 3.  That was the worst idea ever for a single player game.

The devs have verified MP won't have an effect on SP.

I'm wondering, how will we get the items into our game? Will we have to download them via a code on PSN or xbox marketplace?

That's interesting. I'm not sure when this was changed, as the official Inquisition site says the following:

"Why is the PC version of the Inquisitor Edition less expensive in Australia?- Due to us not having the Deluxe PC Edition available in Australia at Retail, you will receive the Standard PC version in your Inquisitor Edition at a slightly lower price point. You will have the opportunity to upgrade to the additional digital content separately, when it’s available."

http://www.dragonage...ing-to-gameStop

That info hasn't been updated in quite some time, so it could well be out of date, but this is what I was basing my information on. Thanks for the link to EB Games, though!

It depends on your platform and method of delivery. I'd expect codes for physical copies, yes, at least for the consoles.

For my PSN digital preorder, though, everything has downloaded and installed now without my having to put in any codes. (Now I just get to stare at the ******* timer as it counts down. ) On PSN the deluxe edition is marked as a "bundle" and in the download list there were separate options for each of the following: 1) the game itself; 2) the update file (day 1 patch); 3) FOTI weapons; 4) FOTI armor; 5) FOTI armored mount; and 6) "deluxe edition items" (presumably the bog unicorn, red hart, throne, and the MP chest[s]). I simply marked them all for download and they were installed automatically. From what I understand all those things are now tied to my account, just as if I'd entered codes for them, and I can re-download them to my PS4 if I ever delete the game data.

I have no experience with Xbox digital preorders, but I would think it'd be something similar: the game itself and each extra pack (#3-6 above) will probably be tied to your account and you can download them as you like. But that's just supposition on my part. Perhaps somebody more familiar with that system can chime in.

For PC, I've heard that Origin actually checks and forces you to install all DLC you legitimately own (i.e. registered to your account), so it looks like digital preorders for PC will get the items whether you like it or not, no extra codes required. I'm not sure whether physical PC copies will do the same, since I think you still need to be hooked up to Origin to play.

Yeah, EA/BioWare got so much flak for that (both Sebastian's DLC and the From Ashes DLC for ME3) that they've said there won't be story-based Day 1 DLC for DA:I.

So far two (further) DLC have been mentioned by the devs:

-The first DLC will be MP

-The first story-based SP DLC will be a timed exclusive for Xbox

No word yet on when either is supposed to be released or on how long the exclusivity will last.
