Time to build a time machine.
I hate criticizing. I work as a teacher so that seems to be all I do. I am just so excited for this game that I am scanning the forums with any information that can sate my curiosity for just a bit.
Waiting is a killer though. Gonna go distract myself.
For characters, I'm most excited about Sera, Morrigan and Leliana.
Overall, I'm looking forward to stepping back into the world. Feels like it's been forever since the last time I played a DA game.
The last month of waiting is always the worst. I'm very excited about DA:I. I can't wait to create my heroine and meet all new characters (especially Sera, Josie, Solas and Scout Harding) and see the old ones (Leliana and Morrigan).
I'm really looking forward to getting my hands on the CC, visiting skyhold, listening to banter between cole, solas and varric. Also exploration, just spotting shiny in the distance and forging a path up the side of a mountain or through a forest to get to said shiny. The romance arc between my elven rogue and dorian appeals to me to.
*flails* IT'S ALMOST HERE.

I'm just excited for everything really. All of the characters, the impossible romance choice, the story. Everything.

It's been so long since I last played Dragon Age.. Wait let me rephrase that, experienced Dragon Age, I've been waiting eagerly ever since I finished Dragon Age 2 back in 2011, I can't wait to step into the world again and revisit old characters.
Also I'm SOOO EXCITED we get to have a 'sorrowful' choice! I love being sad. I mean not like sad but lol idk how to even explain it. But I'm seriously hoping I connect to my character more than I could any other game.
I think this is a first game in many years that I'm so hyped for.
It has almost everything I could hope for in an RPG.
However, the closer we get to the release date, the slower time passes.
It is known.
The day before the release will last a year...
One month...! ONE MONTH!!! I remember when it was only planned to be released years from now. When we didn't know when we'd get to play the next Dragon Age game. When we didn't know what it would all be about. And now, only a few more weeks and this awesome game will be ours. I seriously can't wait. Good job, Bioware. You did great and I'm sure DAI won't disappoint.

Yep, I too am a huge fan of the "sorrowful" choices.
I'm looking forward to hanging out with TIB, Dorian, and Sera (that's my party... and I'll snark if I want to)--or alternatively: Cassandra, Solas, and Varric. I'm also looking forward to catching up with Morrigan and hearing all about the numerous shenanigans she's been up to since I last saw her.
I hope my Inquisitor dies a glorious, heroic death at the end.

I scan the forums with caution because sometimes the over-criticizing can dampen my excitement about Inquisition. Ignorance can be bliss when you just want to kick back and enjoy a game.
So here's a thread specific to DA:I support. Come here to get all your squees out and leave the criticizing at the door.
So, I'm most excited about meeting Solas and Cole. I'm also excited to play a Tempest and Knight Enchanter. I seriously cannot wait to mess around with that CC either. I might just sit down and make both of the characters that I have planned.
And I'm hoping, most of all, to visit The Black City.
another nice thread, while i have concerns about the game, i do have a positive out look and eagerly await its release.
I'm fangirling real hard.

I feel like I'm going to spend the majority of my time in-game in Skyhold's basement nerding out with the R&D branch of the Inquisition. I was obsessed with Blacksmithing in Skyrim, so I imagine schematics and crafting will take the place of that here.
Hopefully the Elder One will be as accommodating as Alduin, and postpone their world-ending rampage until I'm done blowing things up discovering cool new technology in my lab basement.
I'm glad there is such a thread here, all that negative thought doesn't help anyone. I'm excited to play the game, especially the war table, deciding who to send where. And then of course the story, knowing bioware and the guys from Dragon Age we will get some pretty nice things.
I just hope the leaks and spoilers before hand are light this time aroundl, but if not oh well it never stops me from playing the game.
