Do I need to be always logged in online to the keep in order to access my world status from the previous games?, or is that something I have to do only at the start of the playthrough?
Also. the game is only month away from release, so any idea when the site will launch?
I believe you only need to be connected while importing the choices from the Keep.
The Keep will be in Open Beta stage from October 29th.

You need to be connected to the internet only when you want to download a worldstate for a new playthrough.
Public beta starts on the 29th.
You need an internet connection to:
Create a custom world state using the keep,
use that custom world state as your imported world state into inquisition
Start a new game using said world state
After you start a new game using the imported world state from the keep, you don't need an internet connection. If you can't for some reason be online when you start a new game and can't import, your game will have the default world state.
Haven't looked at The Keep yet, is there a list of all the variables you can input somewhere?
Brogan, the keep is still in beta, there are several streams that showcase a part of the content that the Keep Team has put together but until the open beta goes live those in the Closed beta can't give you that info.
