You didn't have to before. That's a 100% change.
That's not what "drastic" means, you know.

Whether it's drastic or not depends on your point of view. For the disabled, as the other guy said, it's drastic.

No offense and I'm really not trying to be a d*ck here, but every game that is not entirely turn-based will always present some more or less severe problems for disabled people. And as I already said, you can just use tactical view all the time - tactical view doesn't necessarily force you into a fixed position, you can adjust it to your liking.
Obviously that's not possible on consoles but I really don't think that there are many console gamers with disabilities/diseases that severely restrict hand movement.

It is only equal if you can play in third person view in tactical cam with all the UI elements turned off. If not, then basically you're saying that immersion is only for the non-disabled.
And yes, I will continue to state that until we hear details from the devs. BioWare RPGs have always been disabled-gamer-friendly and I am hoping that this is still the case.
What is this disabled argument?

Now you're just nitpicking for the sake of being misunderstood, and I didn't say that at all. But we're way off-topic here as it has nothing to do with what the TC was asking for - we already have two different topics for that particular problem.
I am not being my usual cynical self here but I want to know why I should I buy this game can people give me a list of reasons of what should get me excited for this game. I legitimately want to hear and lets us have a nice discussion here.
If after all the trailers, in game footage and twitch feeds you still haven't found a reason to like the game then maybe you shouldn't buy it.
The game wont be for everyone and some of the features that some people will tell you are why you should buy the game are things that other people dislike about the game, multiplayer comes to mind.
So I would say look through all the videos that are out there, read up on the concept of the game and see if there is something in there that will draw you to the game. If you can't find anything then maybe the game isn't for you.
I'm going to play Early Access before I make my mind up whether I buy the game or not.

Because it's awesome and because I say so. no other reason needed.
BUT if that's not enough to satisfy you, I suggest youtubing dragon age inquisition extensively and checking out the dragonagewiki. Really the only one who can decide if you should buy it or not is you, so go do some research!!!

I can give you reasons why I'm buying this game, but I don't know you well enough to say what would excite you, and since Bioware is not paying me to market this game in any capacity I will simply point you in the direction of the various youtube gameplays, trailers and twitch streams and wish you a pleasant day.
I will say I am interested in the game I'll look into it more.
Drastic for the disabled, of which I am one. Also drastic for those with arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome, repetitive motion injuries, etc.
Can always get voice attack. Setup voice macros to assist you in game. Cost like $8 USD for the full version or can mess with the trial version for 21 days when DA:I comes out to see if you like it.
Look at the gameplay videos, the website and the trailers and come up with your own reasons like everyone else.It looks like fun and the characters seem interesting. That's why I want to play it.
Nobody else is making a story-drive, open-world, party-based, RPG with tactical-combat.
Divinity: Original Sin comes close, but it's not really "open-world".
Dragons Dogma comes close, but it's not really "tactical".
The Witcher comes close, but it's not really "party-base".
Skyrim is King, but it's not really story-driven.
Dragon Age: Inquisition is attempting to bring all of those hallmarks into one game -- oh yea, and there's Multiplayer.
Personally, I think Bioware has spread itself too thin and I believe their attempt to be everything-to-everybody will ultimately be their undoing. However, I'm getting the game anyway on the off-chance that they've actually accomplished the unthinkable.
Ok so my cuz actually pre-ordered the game for me as a late gift for a my heart recovery and @ DLaren I 'm very very critical of Bioware a lot of it is due to the ME3 ending and the devs being pricks to us when legit criticism came to them and the big change they have now its not the same company anymore they try to hard to please crowds who don't care about RPGs , shoving the fact that a party member is gay look I have no ill towards gay people I honestly believe that you guys need the basic rights as the human beings you deserve and as a black man who is descended from a long line of slaves I fully support your rights.
But I feel that's better to market the party Mates for their character not sexual orientations, and over all writing needs work. I really want to like Bioware but they haven't given me reasons to like them.
I'll play DA: I and if it is a good game I'll be the first to say it cause regardless of my own personal feelings towards Bioware if they do in fact make a good game I'll give praise to it, if it is actually a good game.
Here is why I'm excited for DAI:
So, yeah. That was my quickfire train of thought. Hope it kind of made sense.
- Bigger world than ever before in the DA series.
- Can choose other races again (and now Qunari!)
- Multiplayer. Had a blast with ME3MP.
- Pretty much every issue I had with DAO and DA2 has been resolved and they've added a bunch of rad new stuff.
- Companions can be customized again but still stay true to their "look."
- Crafting looks insane! Like the way this armor looks? Well! No more having less optimal stats for fashion. Use schematics to craft the armor you like with the stats you need.
- Spells and abilities can be used outside combat again. Welcome to trap city!
- Greater emphasis on tactical playstyle and scouting ahead. Especially on higher difficulties.
- Enemies don't scale. Quite possible for you to get wrecked and need to level up and come back for sweet, sweet vengeance.
- Specializations have more meaning and impact this time around.
- We can re-spec right out of the gate in the base game. No need for a DLC to add it later. (your specialization stays though)
- More "realistic" romances and friendships. Getting rid of the friendship bar and attempting to make things more natural.
- WE CAN JUMP! This is a small thing for most people I imagine. But I love nothing more than to jump off really high places in games.
- More dragon fights.
- Riding the bull
- Combat seems to be a nice blend of DAO and DA2 while bringing in some flashyness from Kingdoms of Amalur. (Dat chain pull anyone?)
- Seeing the "real" Varric. Not how he sees himself in his stories.
- Being friends with mages who are not abominations, maleficarum, etc.
- The War Table.
- Hopefully shoving my boot up some Orlesian asses. Maybe delivering a Stone Cold Stunner or two because WHY NOT?!
- DAT CASS
- A Grey Warden companion who isn't a newbie. All the companions seem rad, actually.
So much WUT in this post.... I won't even delve into the black slavery and gay rights stuff.Ok so my cuz actually pre-ordered the game for me as a late gift for a my heart recovery and @ DLaren I 'm very very critical of Bioware a lot of it is due to the ME3 ending and the devs being pricks to us when legit criticism came to them and the big change they have now its not the same company anymore they try to hard to please crowds who don't care about RPGs , shoving the fact that a party member is gay look I have no ill towards gay people I honestly believe that you guys need the basic rights as the human beings you deserve and as a black man who is descended from a long line of slaves I fully support your rights.

You can play as a big horny giant. That's reason enough.
