Here is a question. 

 

It seems that her holiness Divine Justinia the fifth is one of the victims of the peace summit at the beginning of the game.  That brings up a question, who then will be the next Divine of the Chantry? The grand clerics are the ones who decide from among themselves who would become the next divine. Unfortunately the only grand cleric that we know of that is around is Elemena of Ferelden.

 

I do wonder if assuming we support the chantry, we might have a role in who becomes the next divine.

Templar Null Magic works with training, Alistair himself says so in Origins during the training. Lyrium just "Super charges" the abilities of the Templar Null magic.

The devs retconned it so that lyrium is indeed needed to use templar powers. Evangeline in Asunder says so and that is the reason Alistair takes lyrium again in the comics.

Casandra's class description outright says that as a Seeker, she has full access to all templar powers, and none of the lyrium addiction. In the Templar Support Thread, a bioware employee came right out and confirmed that the Seekers do something different than the Templars, and we'll have to ask Cassandra for details when the game comes out.

Aww, you hurt my feelings. I'm only trying to bring truth to the confused southerners and help them reach the side of the Maker...
