In all seriousness, the game glitched out on the Citadel DLC cutscene and her head disappeared. 

I found it fitting.

I never saw it happen with my own eyes, but I saw a picture of an Atlas using it's "garbage can pincher" to lift Liara up.

 

Knowing what Atlas's do, I'll bet it squeezed and popped her blueberry like a blueberry!

My priorities on which squadmate to bring...

1) Fitting squadmates/love-interest (Eg: Garrus in Tuchanka, James in Earth)
2) Any squadmate I haven't brang that much?
3) Useful squadmates to bring (Tactically)

Holy serious oversight, Batman. As much as I love Grunt, I have never done this.   Oh that's gonna change on this playthrough. 

It's like bowling with the husks as the pins.

Grunt and Tali are the only ones I ever bring there now (drones are mandatory for missions with scions, and quarians are mandatory either way), along with a trusty cain for shooting the core after the first husk swarm.

Just today I saw EDI getting killed when a Marauder landed right on her

I don't know that it was that "theatrical" but I was stunned by the way this Banshee went right around me to get at Liara who was positioned behind Kaidan and Shepard. I mean, she wanted Liara dead something fierce.

It is a pity you can't kill Diana Allers in a theatrical death. I loathe her

Just don't bring her aboard; she will then die on another ship that got blasted by a Reaper. If she doesn't get vaporized instantly, then her body will almost instantly freeze to death.

Saw Wrex fighting bravely against that CAT-6 Atlas, then getting grabbed. Fortunately, a well-placed Saber shot finished it and released him.

 

I won't lie, I sighted out of relief, even knowing he can't *really* die D:

• Javik - He got drunk and threw himself out of the airlock.
• Wrex - died of too much "Snu Snu".
• Miranda - common she had "swimsuit" in middle of battle...how do you think she ended up dead.
• Jacob - hehe just kidding you...he died already in ME2 in shaft(yes this was on purpose > ).
• EDI - billion of angry fangirls killed her because they couldn't romance Joker.
• Vega - he learned hard way why you should never pi$$ off biotics.
• Zaeed - blowing everything up to hell while you are in there is bad for your health.
• Kasumi - stealing reapers underwear for collection was bad call.
• Garrus - one word "fangirls"...because sometimes too much love can kill.
• Joker - same as "Garrus Case".
• Samara - pshhhhhh...there was never Samara it was "Morinth" all along
• Jack - sometimes you need to say "Stop to tattoos".
• Tali - of old age.
• Grunt - jumping out of hospital windows...very bad for you.
• Liara - let's be honest...she can die billion times and every billion times BW will resurrect her...pure "Leliana Case".

In my first ME3 playthrough the very first Banshee destroyed me until heroic Garrus ran up to her and started beating the **** out of her, I escaped and was able to grab some ammo. He died right afterwards but got us through the fight.

 

In ME1 during those Geth-base missions Wrex went berserk and charged into a Colossus, didn't get very far but it looked like something from a movie.

The only time Wrex can be grabbed by an Atlas is when you are chasing the Clone, or in the Armax Arena. Liara can be grabbed by an Atlas any time one shows up, though generally she gets grabbed by Banshees. (She gives off pure-blood pheromones that attract Banshees to her like bees to honey.)

In ME1, Wrex started butting heads with another Krogan, the gangster boss, and Wrex lost.
