I will continue to call her Scribbles even though we know her Varric name is Ruffles. Which is good IMO but not as good as Scribbles.

The optimist in me hopes they patch it post-release to change it to Scribbles. A lot of fans and the Bioware employees like it.

Zevi and Dori, are the only two I've nicknamed in an DA. I'd of romanced Zev, but apparently he's glitched in DA2, saying the Warden's dead.

 

Dori will be either my 2nd Qunari, or my Dalish Elf alt's Li.

In my own head cannon Ruffles is the name Varric gave her. My inquisitor will, he will call her Scribbles.

Varric: 'So do you give each other nicknames?'

Inquisitor: 'Who?'

Varric: 'You and the Seeker. What you have between you two has been circulating all throughout Skyhold. The biggest question everyone's asking is what are your pet names for each other?'

Inquisitor: 'I don't have one for her.'

Varric: 'A tough old goat like her? There's plenty of nicknames you could come up with.'

Inquisitor: 'Like what?'

Varric: 'Hmm, well I hear some of the cooks refer to her as a crusty baguette.'

Inquisitor: 'So you want me to call Cassandra crusty?'

Varric: 'Wouldn't be inaccurate. Though I don't think you want that dagger to go right through your throat.'

*Inquisitor narrows eyes*

Varric: 'Um, what about sweetie? Or honey?'

*flashback to the beginning of DA2, cue Cass book stabbing incident*

Inquisitor: 'Bullshit. We don't need nicknames'

Varric: 'Suit yourself your Eminence.' *Inquisitor leaves* 'Crusty it is...or Barkspawn. That'll really get them riled'.

I call Zevran and Isabela 'Zev' and 'Izzy', but I do that whether I'm romancing them or not.

Can't think of any sort of nickname I call the others. Maybe just 'Beth' for Bethany and 'silly baby bro' for Carver.
