Hey, I just re-read this book for the third time and I'm still finding it a good read.
My review of the Stolen Throne
What did you think of this book, anyway?
I think it really opened up a lot of new avenues for Dragon Age in it's own way. It managed to capture a certain something, I think which is best explained as, "Dragon Age functions ninety-percent of the time like normal fantasy novels but, 10% of the time, goes horribly-horribly wrong." You have the plucky resistance fighters against the evil Empire but the thing is, well, things go horribly arry several times too.
Particularly in the personal lives.
I think these shake-ups make the book feel more authentic.
