Okay I am really enjoying the game so far, but I have noticed something that begins to annoy me. When a fight begins the rest of the group I use attack immediately and that is perfectly fine. But even if I use pause and then select a creature to attack with my main character and then release pause again, I quit often have to click on the same creatures a few times more before my main character starts an attack?
How come that the rest of the group can attack immediately, but my main character needs several seconds and several clicks on an enemy before he finally attacks? Is this normal behaviour, and if so is there something I can do about it?
Does any one else notice this?

It's been a long time since I played, but I remember the controls being a big problem. I played on 360. If you're on a console, the combat controls are definitely sketchy.
I wouldn't have any idea about PC, though, if that's the system you're playing it on.

this is a bug. it happens from time to time. just make a move - like walk forward.
i believe it is related to a memory leak issue.

So without a patch ( Which I highly doubt will come. ) I can only use the tip you mentioned? Guess I will have to get used to it then.

no. even after the last patch this issue will stay. i don't remember what exactly is causing it, but game will eat your virtual memory no matter how strong your configuration is.
as a "solution" just restart the game after an hour of playing.

it will help not only with response time from controlled characters, but will also help with loading time and mobs movements (like mobs could just stay in the spawn area).
