Skyhold is massive. I'm going to spend hours decorating it. I want Dwarven **** everywhere and a herb garden. Also all the mounts. And a luxurious bathhouse.

great so glad i got up early for this............. that said i may never do so again
, comments distracting for the vid.......... and damn full of trolls to boot. the human eye can't even tell the difference between 30FPS and 60FPS, the "lag" comes when it drops BELOW 30FPS per second.
still the keep is way bigger then i thought was very impressed.

When the Inquisitor was talking to Vivienne, it looked like there was a question that asked, "Do you know Fiona?"
I believe it said "do" instead of "did," suggesting she might not be killed in the Big Bang as some have speculated.
Fiona better not be dead.....I really want to meet her.

Walking like on hells while not wearing them is idiotic, not feminine.
There was nothing manly about that ass shake.
I missed the first part of the stream...this seems like its going to be interesting, lol.

Overall, I'm very impressed. I was hoping for more tranquil music though. The war drums sound cool but I can see them getting annoying after a while.
They already annoyed me after 30 seconds.

Yeah, the singing was amazing. Props to whoever recorded that, it nailed the atmosphere.
I just reckon the drumbeat is an odd sound to hear when you're running around planting seeds or talking to Dorian or whatever.
(the Normandy theme was much more mellow, it almost faded into the background most of the time)
Yup, definitely more soothing, I agree, I'd start to feel uncomfortable after a while I think, I don't want to feel like the world is about to end whenever I go home to take a breather... I guess Cole will be saving me a spot in his corner...

Hopefully, so I can personally stab her instead of letting some explosion do the work.

After seeing that a Chantry garden is available I kind of want one. Perhaps if they put in a secular garden for meditation, that I would definitely take.

I suspect I will be spending a lot of time exploring Skyhold ![]()
Very excited about what I saw in today's stream regarding Skyhold. However, Cam's combat encounter was...not executed that well
. For a constant pause and play type of player like me, it was rather cringe worthy lol.

I can't believe people still actually believe this... Anyone who's played at 60 fps knows there a massive difference.

So, can the inquisitor actually PLAY chess, or is it just a prop for the npcs? Sorry for asking, can't watch the stream just now.
There's no minigame or anything, but the Inquisitor can play chess with Cullen. It presents three options on the dialogue wheel, similar to the bottle shooting with Garrus in ME3. [Play fair], [Cheat] and [Let Him Win].

It looks like just a prop for cutscenes, though you can influence how the match turns out (cheat, let them win, play fair, etc).

Just a fade to black.
Would have been cool if there was a chess mini game though.

So...I'm confused half the people here seem to be saying the Femquisitor is too manly and the other half says she walks like a hooker. O.O From what I saw...its not perfect, but I don't think its anywhere near as bad as Hawke's was. As far as the casual wear is concerned...meh. I kind of agree, again not perfect, but so far looks better then the one in DA 2. Also, I think you might want to slip into soething soft and comfy after being out all day in battle armor.

Or a meditation garden with "special herbs" to help with the meditation? ![]()

Well...that isn't true at all...
There are plenty of little tests out there that will show you the difference between 30 and 60 frames, and I promise that you will notice it.
But yes...a consistent framerate very important and far more important than it is to aim high. Chances are the PS4 struggled to maintain 60 and fell somewhere inbetween...which isn't surprising seeing as how the system has only been out for a year. I don't think anyone will reallly care if it isn't 60fps (or not that many people)...and the percentage of PC gamers who will be able to play at 60fps...or...heh...4k....is tiny.

I enjoyed the peek, but had to step away a few times. Oh well. Perhaps when someone YouTubes it later I'll get a second pass at viewing.
I did like the convos with Vivianne, and Cole. Wanted to see one with Varric.

What femQuisitor is reminding me of:

I didn't watch the rest of the stream, so I'll post some comments once it archives/gets on youtube.
As a sidenote, someone said that there is no possibility to change clothes in Skyhold, which is very disappointing. You give us all that customization, and you cannot give us a few more sets of clothes?

Yeah....I couldn't get over how weird FemHawke looked in her casual wear....and...and those knees. I think what they have in DA:I is a huge improvement, but I would have liked to see more choices and wouldn't be shocked in the least if those choices came soon after release (maybe even as pre-order/deluxe/game-guide DLC).
