This one's better lol
*snip*
Eh it's good, but I judge this music by the amount of goosebumps it causes, and the new one brought more. :S

I just want this game already.
I can't get over how big Skyhold is.
And the music in the tavern is amazing. ![]()

Ok, the casual outfit wouldn't be as bad if it weren't an all over, near featureless burlap beige color. If they had even given it some color ... it would be something. But as it is, it looks like she's wearing something made out of natural rough-spun cloth like a low-ranking servant might be in. The lack of features reinforces this. People of means can afford to have excess cloth. All your companions have outfits with frills or ornaments that show off their wealth or means to have more than just the form-fitting and cheapest basics, and then ... there's you.
Yeah, I think this is why I was so surprised by the casual wear.
At least if it was red or orange or something it might look more like a noble's outfit, but that colour and the lack of ornamentation looks a bit strange.

I always wanted a game that let me customize the drapes and curtains but not my PC's clothes.

Just seems odd how the whole video is all about CUSTOMIZATION CUSTOMIZATION CUSTOMIZATION!
And then you've got your Inquisitor trucking around in a mandatory burlap sack.

Sorry to double post but I'm sure it's been mentioned that we can change what our casual wear will be.

oh? mind posting the source, as I thought they said that wasn't possible during the twitch stream?

Actually they've confirmed multiple times we cannot change casual outfits. They were looking into it as a possibility for including in dlc /xpacs though.

Sorry, I honestly can't remember, I know that's obviously not good enough to go on, but I just thought it was said somewhere ![]()

Nvm then, at least DLC, that's fine, I suppose

Disappointed about the burlap sack casual wear and how the conversations with Vivienne and Cole went. It's so unsatisfying to have the Inquisitor just stand there with no zooming in to see either the Inquisitor's expressions or Cole's or Vivienne's.
Other than those things, everything was pretty cool, though.

Are they those semi-conversation where there's no cutscene? .. I understand why Bioware made those, but they just take the story and effect out of everything

While a zoomed in cutscene is more engaging, I imagine it saved Bioware resources by keeping the animations and camera on simple, anytime conversations, basic. If this means more dialogue and character interaction overall with still roughly the same ratio of cutscenes for significant conversations/events, I'm all for it.

Yup. They don't feel like real conversations to me. It's like ME3 eavesdropping Shepard for fetch-quest acquisition all over again, except with dialogue options.

Cameron's not really helping the argument that the game isn't ridiculously difficult and punitive without health regen, lol.
I don't think he was really making full use of the tools available to him at that moment. That was supposed to be a relatively tricky fight, but I didn't really see him pausing and switching in between companions as much as I would expect in a situation like that.

Think of it this way, these "eavesdropping with dialogue" conversations require less animation budget, less animation budget means more conversations, and more conversations means less "can it wait for a bit, I'm in the middle of some Calibrations".
Based on the cutscene with Dorian and Cullen and Leliana and Josephine, it looks like we'll be getting some cutscene dialogues as well, potentially just as many as we got in any other game, but now we'll also be getting these side dialogues to fill the void during the slower parts of the game.

Yeah with the no cinematic conversation, it's either have them or not have as many conversations. There's only so much budget.

Cameron also clarified on Twitter that they deliberately avoided showing many of the cutscene companion conversations because at that point in the game they were full of spoilers.
