What?
It's confirmed i'm gonna sit on my throne with the pajamas only? D:
I hope at least they put us in our gear for the important events, like Judgements, or if someone important comes to Skyhold to meet with us.
Oh well.

But I think a woman who was trying to be more authoritative would do what the Inquisitor is doing.
Maybe I'll try finding pictures of military women when in uniform with their hands across their chest.
Or, as I mentioned, in my case it's physically difficult/uncomfortable to fold my arms lower on my torso. However, I think there's also definitely a power play aspect to it. It looks more confident and assertive overall. I do often come across as such to people I know well, even when I'm not trying to be, so body language likely plays a large role in that - I'd say the same goes here, whether it's intentional on the Inquisitor's part or not.

I think bioware should just give the player the choice and not force you into that outfit why can i not just stay in my armour let the player make the choice.

Okay, this is getting ridiculous. The inquisitor is clearly not wearing pajamas, but what appears to be typical thedosian wealthy casualwear. If you look at the detailing on the outfit, it is *extremely* remniscent of the kinds of outfits we've seen on nobles and other wealthy characters in the previous games. In fact, if I'm remembering correctly, it's quite similar to the outfit that Hawke wore to that party in MotA.
I grant you, at a distant glance, that particular color is close to that inquisitor's fleshtone, but I expect the differences to be more pronounced once you're looking at the game directly and not through a stream. Or even if you play a non-white character.
So everyone, please try to be a little bit less ridiculous.

Pajamas and robes. Disney approves.

Yeah, you're right.
They're almost like pajamas, but not quite there yet ![]()
P.S. We know they don't look like pajamas, don't worry.
It's a deliberately demeaning characterization for the outfit, since we're stuck with it, and doesn't look like something imposing enough for the leader of the Inquisition, especially when they Judge people.

Agreed, that is a bit much to think.....pj's?? lmao
Then you shouldn't play video games dude. Actions / decisions will always be finite and never enough for the end users, no matter how many they put in.
Which just goes to show, you can never please everyone. There will always be some party who feels aggrieved by some decision. And of all the things to be most annoyed about, seriously that is the laughable. My character could wear a paper bag in Skyhold for all I care, it doesn't change the gameplay at all.
Can't wait until the game is out and I no longer have to read these forums with people complaining that the grass is too green or the sky is too blue..... And yes..... I have to read the forum to get my daily DA:I fix.
Scary thought that people are complaining about anything when alll they've seen are trailers and streams......wait till it's released....play and enjoy!!
As long as she doesn't do the open-legged sitting ala FemShep in ME2, then I'm OK with it.
A-MEN!!!!! Biggest peeve in me3 cutscenes!!!!!

Considering all the commotion over this, I'd be willing to bet that in a few months you'll have different outfit options in Skyhold....It'll just you cost $4.99
In my first playthrough, I will probably always side with Leliana, in the second with Cullen...
So, is the singer in the tavern a bard or a bard?

A bard, of course. What else would she be?

I think you mean is the singer in the tavern a minstrel (just a singer or actor) or a bard (as in liliana's kind of bard)?
