I'm somewhere in the middle.  On one hand, I'd rather not know about any major plot points in the game.  I've spoiled myself into "meh" situations one too many times in the past.  On the other hand, I have no problem being spoiled by minor stuff, like secondary missions and stuff that's taken out of context.  As long as they don't spoil the main progression of the game's story for me, I'm fine with some media coverage.

As for hype?  I tend to burn my hype candle early, so by the time the game comes around, I'm all out of expectations, and can take the game as it is.  It helps to keep in mind that any of my headcanons or expectations are subject to change once I actually start playing the game.

Nah, still on the hype train here.  I get more hype every time I even think about getting my hands on this game.  I will continue keeping up with every tidbit of information possible. O_O

TL:DR

I really liked DA:O so I got on the hype train, but then I got worn out by the hype so I got a ticket for when I actually play the game so to speak. I still want to know certain things about the game like game mechanics, skills and abilities, stats and other stuff like that but I know next to nothing about the actual story of the game and that's the way I like it. I don't have the time or ambition to comb over every detail of the game. Part of me being on this forum is for social reasons too. I guess you could say I'm looking forward to the game but am cautiously optimistic at this point.
