Rather suspicious that a mage leader won't even attend a peace conference that the Divine started in good faith.

She was apparently very right to fear assassination.

**** you, Anders. Just **** you.

That is some seriously messed up ****.

...er?

I hadn't known that Anders' dialogue said nothing whatsoever about talking to Ella's parents. So this entire thing was just a vague hope of Anders' and not even an actual action he was going to take? Good grief. Learn to check sources better, myself...

Oh hell.

Was that when he killed that mage whom we rescued from evil beard, bald head?

My Gale Trevelyan blames Anders for many of his friends dying in the war, so Gale will have a big bone to pick with him.

Same, also funny that I also sided with the Templars on it too. It was both ironic and karma :P

Ah, so you'll smack down Meredith for bringing up Hawke's mother as a political point too, of course?

Did Meredith kill Leandra and plant evidence?

Because, as I clearly explained in my point by point, the biggest issue here is that Anders has the gall to not only talk to the parents of a girl he murdered, he will lie to them so he can further his political agenda.

Well, it makes sense for Fiona to stay behind for a couple reasons.

1. She is their best military mind, so very dangerous to risk.

2. Diplomacy is not her strongest suit.

Except for the fact that he never even alludes to that, as shown in the picture you yourself just posted? He just hopes that her parents decide on their own that templars did it.

Good to know that you at least gave him the honorable form of suicide.

In Japan yes, in Thedas no.

Ha! Joke's on Anders.

Same for me, except one playthrough because I wanted to see if he does appear it would be as an insane abomination :P

I might do that just to see  what happens if he's in the game. If he is,  it will happen when I do my worst Inquisition playthrough

Long story short, Fiona is current Grand Enchanter of the Mages, and Adrian is the leader of the Libertarian Faction of the mages. If you want to know more, I would suggest reading Asunder.

Grasping? Please, point to the part of the quote where Anders says he'd do anything more than just show up to pay his respects.

Only Sebastian self proclaims himself as prince of Starkhaven, but that is disputed as he already took his vows of poverty and chastity. In Act 1, he says that Elthina prefers he introduces himself as a brother of the Chantry. Thus he has no title. He's bit delusional. If someone Starkhaven is already crowned as Prince that they will not recognize him as the lawful heir. He has to win Starkhaven through war. And though he has ties to Starkhaven royalty, 1.he's a rival to the throne, and 2. an embarrassment to the family according to his past and I doubt his family, whoever's left is very fond of him. All he can probably do is introduce Hawke, but he can't pull strings.

I think we are talking about different things here. i am not implying he is a Prince as a ruler but that he is, in fact, was born royalty. And he can gain support of at least one family we know of for sure - Harrimans.

And yes, he can introduce Hawke to a lot of influential people - in the very least. What can Anders do?

You just made stretching an olympic sport.

Yeah, I'm sure he is just hoping they will, magically, get that into their heads. He is obviously not planning to talk to them.

Anders? A liar? Never!

Saved my Hawke's ass with his healing. I could hardly get to the Gallows even on normal without his help since I had to go through a pride demon and an army of Shades. And I couldn't kill that dragon and its drakes without his healing and magic.

I made stretching an Olympic sport? The mysterious death of a mage in the Gallows, with the templars having a bad reputation to the point that even their own recruits thought that Meredith was regularly murdering them, wouldn't lead to a reasonably obvious conclusion, especially since Ella's parents were clearly sympathetic enough for her to run to them? And again, Anders never once says anything about talking to them.

"I'm going to attend the funeral of the girl I murdered. On a completely unrelated note, do you think her parents would believe she was murdered by Templars?"

No connection whatsoever between these two ideas.

There... really isn't. The templars, again, already have a terrible reputation.

It was soooooooo damn hard not typing expletives in that sentence. I almost slipped a couple of b words in there, but I wanted to appear "unbiased". Didn't wanna scare the newbie.
