I hope we'll get a bard song about that , the title had serious potential.

 

More seriously , it's good we'll get (hopefully) a more appropriate music .

We do hear a bit of it before they put the drums soundtrack back over it

I don't mind the drums at all. Actually, it was one of the things I liked the most.

 

There should be an option of turning off the background music If you don't like it THAT much.

If we are talking about the drums in the intro music, I personally love them. I think they add real emotion to the track.

Well that's good although I was looking forward to the romance scenes that take place at Skyhold  , it would make them so much more dramatic

Really happy about that.  I wouldn't think they'd do that, considering the past music for your Camp in DAO and Hawke's mansion in DA2.  I'm happy that this has been confirmed.

It was a valid complaint considering ambient background music can be quite an important factor. Its also something that doesn't simply get solved with a patch or DLC, unlike the casual clothing.

 

So no, its not nitpicking at its finest.

I was against the drums at first but now that they are not in I miss them.

Same here. I didn't even notice it when I first watched the Skyhold video the other day. Went back and rewatched it, now I can't help but notice it!

I'm glad that the drums aren't the main Skyhold theme. When I am at Skyhold I want the music to be like the peaceful camp music in DA:O

Yeah watching the stream those non-stop drums did my head in after five minutes. And I would have liked to be able to spent good 20 minutes skyholds sessions, crafting/talking/ etc, without having to turn the music off every time.

This is a relief!I love the DA:I soundtrack so far but I must admit I was a bit disappointed by what was presumed to be Skyhold's ambient music.
