Well, I have a no-shooting flawless gold solo video, but it's Kroguard vs Geth which I am told does not count.

You may be right deerber but as I have problems dodging I thought it would help to see the tactics. To me, it seems 2 barrels of awesome with 4 consumable slots of chuck Norris face to face laughing at a brute b/c it took 2 shots to kill takes less skill. I am fully aware I know less about me3mp than almost anyone so forgive my naivety.
Well... to be fair, the percentage of players who can solo Platinum with a Shuriken is considerably smaller than the percentage that can do it with a Harrier. Essentially, the longer your solo takes, the more chances the enemies have to capitalize on any of your mistakes. Which means you have to be better at not making any.
But as Deerber says, the actual tactics and skills involved are still the same, so you'll see essentially the same techniques, just drawn out over a longer period of time.

Hope you like some of these:
Typically, solos with bad weapons make up for the poor performance of the weapon with a character that is heavily reliant of combos and powers (fury, QME, other grenade spammers etc), or by using incendiary cheese (anything with warp, inferno grenades, incinerate etc). Sometimes, an infiltrator, destroyer, GT, TSol or QMS should do the trick.
The incisor one was done by me, and I relied heavily on recon mine spam to weaken enemies or kill them because incisor lacks the punch to take down bosses.

I haven't done any solos with weak weapons because my crutches help me get around.

Massive props for that!
There should be a special challenge for solo'ing with all the weapons that used to be awesome in ME2 yet are... not as awesome... in ME3.
Incisor, Revenant, Locust....

I once did Human Soldier/ Avenger, no Adrenaline Rush, no Incendiary cheese on London vs Reaper...
Took me over an hour... on Gold...
Also did a Gold Duo with a buddy of mine. Volus Vanguard and Adept on Glacier vs Cerberus with Avenger... Was even funny^^

Incisor and Revenant aren't really that bad. Locust on the other hand...
Incisor was bad in ME2 anyway, except when Garrus used it.

The most awesome tactic I've employed in a solo with a bad weapon is learning to park a ravager somewhere so I can go to the bathroom.

I don't understand, how do you set off tech armour when the swarmers come, then?
