MESSAGE POPULAIRE !

Hello, I have a very small minor suggestion to give to Bioware, hopefully they can implement it in a post-release patch,

In the recent Skyhold stream we found out that there is just one casual outfit we can wear in Skyhold as the Inquisitor.

I understand the game is going gold soon so there's no way this can be changed, though I'd appreciate if Bioware could patch more outfit choices in an upcoming patch.I imagine the same white clothes will become boring after spending a few hours in Skyhold, let alone over the course of a few playthroughs.

Feel free to discuss if you feel like it, BSN!

Cheers!

I'd love that, but the cynic in me thinks "It'll be DLC".

Yes, please!

More outfit options is good... but full customization would be even better.
Inquisition has this HUGE, in-depth crafting system... why not use it for our casual wear as well? Imagine being able to tailor your Inquisitor's unique outfit with the design and colors that fit his/her personal style!

I highly doubt they'd make a "casual clothes" DLC.If they did, I picture they would get a huge media backlash.

I actually really love the outfit.

That's perfectly fine!I actually find it quite nice too!Though having customization options would be preferable.

It doesn't make sense that we have this huge crafting system for armour, weapons and our base camps but we're stuck with one casual outfit.

DLC doesn't always cost, you know.  For these games it's been free as often as it cost money.

This is the same company that forced you to buy DLC with Mass Effect 2 in order to get a suit of armor for Garrus that wasn't broken. It's not that far out of reach.

I like the outfit as well, but I want opitions here as well.

The thing is bioware has been marketing this game as being highly customizable with most things being customizable from your world state to your equipment to your castle. at the very least I want the opition of changing my casual outfit.

I hope they provide more options for casual apparel, either via a patch or free DLC. It can even just be a goodie you get  from a larger DLC.

I really don't like the implications of asking everything to be made DLC

I would rather have no casual outfit than just one.

However, if we are to be forced into pyjamas, I would be willing to pay human money for a more palatable option.

In concept art, the Inquisitor is seen wearing a variety of sharp coats in casual settings. Unfortunately, it seems this did not transfer over to gameplay.

I would like a different color palette for the casual wear based on today's stream.

I actually do not see a need to switch between different kinds of outfits, but I certainly would welcome it if it's a post launch DLC.

That's the thing about making a game where so many things are so incredibly customizable - anything you can't customize stands out like a sore thumb.

Just like the Qunari horn/hair lock, the sudden limitation just doesn't quite live up to the standards the rest of the game is setting.

Cameron Lee said they were looking into it.  So folks that suspect a DLC are probably right on this one.

Personally, I find it just...silly that I can customize curtains and such.  However, the one thing that I'll probably be looking at the most, my clothes, can't be changed.

Um, BioWare, I think you got your priorities a little mixed up.  I'm glad that you and your play testers enjoyed being able to make sure that the crimson color of the curtains complemented the gold trim.   I'm just gonna say it: That sounds better for the Sims than for Dragon Age.  I really don't care about making my throne match my eyes.  I'm more worried about having an outfit that isn't gold and white (which was shown in a screen shot, and that's two colors I'm not a fan of) being the only thing I have to wear at the home base. :(

So, according to the DA team,  customizable curtains and furniture = needed for Dragon Age.  The causal clothes that the player is going to have to stare at the most = not as important.  Er, that seems wrong to me.  I really don't care if my furniture is default, or if my rugs don't match my armor.  I'm more worried about what my avatar is going to look like.  My armor, my face structure, my hair and my clothes are going to help define my character.  Why should I give a sodding toss if I can customize furniture in a Dragon Age game?

Maybe they can give you guys an option to toggle armor on or off without the helm.

Unfortunately, this doesn't have anything to do with armor.  This is purely about the causal clothes the Inquisitor has at Skyhold.  We have no choice.  We might be able to change the color, I hope.  I do know that a helm toggle isn't going to help with this particular issue.

White? Those clothes are brown, unless I'm colorblind.

This one.  It looked like a dark gold and white, with some brown, to me:

I mean like just toggling entire armor off and on but don't have the helmet on when walking around in Skyhold so you're more like Cullen or Cassandra who are still wearing theirs.

The interior designer in me can't help but appreciate that Bioware cared enough to make sure that the curtains literally match the drapes, but I agree that they may have focused on the wrong thing.

Yeah, I'd be cool with just wearing my armor around the Keep, too. Although, the free DLC option or included in another bundle or even a slight 2 dollar-ish cost DLC would be cool.
