I think it's too early to judge on that
Maybe, but it is a solid conclusion due to the armors they've shown so far whereas there is no real evidence to think otherwise.

Now that isn't fair or correct. I am frustrated too, but I respect that their resources aren't infinite. These resources include the time and energy of the DA team themselves. The people behind the game. They aren't robots. It isn't just about money; those people should be able to sleep/eat/spend time with their families. I think that some folks underestimate exactly how much work the team goes through. You can have all the access to money in the world. You need to sleep sometime.
Should they hire more people? Good programmers, animators, debuggers, ect don't grow on trees. Even in Canada.
If they thought that a dress would delay the game even longer, and would put it ahead of other things, then it makes sense that they considered it a low priority. The best thing to do as fans to try to remain respectful of the DA team, express our concerns and ideas, and request more options down the road.
I like the way you worded that it makes me a little less bothered by that you are right they are just people they cant think of everything or do everything but now all we can hope for is that they maybe come out with free dlc or a patch later on if we ask lol but again your right
Might want to fix your formatting. ![]()
And thank you, by the way.

But they've only really shown off the same armor outside of a couple which especially one of them could be considered feminine
I have no clue how to do that lol.Might want to fix your formatting.

They are legitimate reasons. You don't have to like them or agree with them. Be upset, that's your right. However, if you do some research, Ares is correct. Take a few and look up video game development. It's really cool and I personally learned a lot.
I'm not excusing Mike Laidlaw's call on this one, but the reasons are sound. Remember, Mike Laidlaw is the senior project head for this game. All decisions ultimately come down to him. He's David Gaider's boss.

Which one?
The only feminine armor I can think of is the Elf in the image today wearing Merrill's outfit.
I don't even care what their reason is. I just care about what I want, and if they offer something less I'll appraise it appropriately.
You remind me of Veruca Salt from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
Is it confirmed we're to attend a ball? If so, then dressing up in the style of Orlais would have been fun. :/
Oh, well. I still like the casual outfit. I think it's nice. As I said earlier, maybe they'll be some Appearance Packs later with some different casual styles in them.
I don't have to think the reasons are legitimate either. They could have used the resources needed to animate dresses properly and not settle for this. They chose not to. I'm not really interested in putting myself in the shoes of a game developer and trying to understand all the reasons why the things I want are too hard. It's their prerogative to do whatever they want with the game, of course. It's their game. They don't even need a reason, and for that matter, the previous poster was right, I don't even care what their reason is. I just care about what I want, and if they offer something less I'll appraise it appropriately.
Okay, you're upset and frustrated. I hear you there. There has been a few decisions in the development of this game I feel strongly against, like race gating. Yet, I know that's going to be a part of the game and it's up to me to decide if I want to pay for it.
I'm beginning to wonder, what exactly do you want them to do at this point? The game comes out in a few weeks. Do you want a DLC? Sure, I'll sign up for that. Yet, for now, what are you asking from them? Do you want them to get on their knees and apologize? They could tell you why they made that decision, but you've just said that they won't have legitimate reasons in your eyes.
They can't change it now. It's just too late. One attracts more flies with honey than vinegar, so why not be polite about requesting a DLC?
White? Those clothes are brown, unless I'm colorblind.
It can be hard to tell depending on the warmth of the lighting. That said, white actually has quite a few shades.

what this statement right here tells me is that no matter what reason they give you, you will still be upset at the decision not to include a dress.
I tried, but I was unable to find a gif that accurately reflected how much, and how often, this is true.

It's how Gaider wanted it. He posted in the past his annoyance with how posters try to justify the things they want with their shallow understanding of how game development works. They should just say what they want, full stop. So that's what I'm doing.
I also want shapeshifter back.

That's not feminine to me.
I think the appropriate way is to respectfully ask them honestly if someone commanded u to make them a cookie would you make it?
Only if they began with "sudo".
That's not feminine to me.
I thought it looked feminine, save the bulge. No Allan, that bulge isn't a female groin protection cup. I can put up pictures of what one of those actually looks like. That's a bulge carried over from the male model. Nice try though. ![]()
There's another one, more recent, of the lady Qunari mage, that I liked a lot. It had a nice cut and actually showed off her curves in a modest way. I'll try to go through the Female Inquisitor thread later to try to dig it up.

Did Allan really say that?
I hope we wear the black outfit to the ball instead of the red one. That one at least has some lovely detail on the neckline... The red one looks like a military uniform, which is not what my ladies want to wear. I'm getting so sick of females and female characters getting the shaft due to "resources and time". But I'm going to try and stay optimistic...
I'm almost tempted to say these issues probably wouldn't be happening if the inclusion of multiple races wasn't back ![]()
