Of course.
Well, this is the internet, after all... you never know. ![]()
If anyone PMs any of the devs, please remain respectful.
Good point. My turn to say "of course." xD

I support that, but I'd rather not have it mandatory on my cis-gendered characters.

Another slider on the CC? It would fit in with the Adam's apple slider for female qunari. (Apologies if that sounds negative -- I fully support the option, and I found the inclusion of the AA an interesting inclusion.)
I have to admit I was wondering about those pictures of the human fem!quisitor, though. Thanks all for the clarification!
For a comparison, here's the Skyhold outfit in black and white:
Spoiler
Huh... that's not much of a change and it still looks a lot better to me. The all-beige suit is too bland.

If they put in a bulge slider, they would probably make it equal and have a boob slider. That could become a problem, quickly. For everyone involved.

I already suspected they were going Saints Row-ish with the Jar of Bees - may as well just go all the way.
Also, this is a little bit different. That thread (which I participate in) just wanted to see more of the female PC. This is asking for a whole new model and design of clothing. This isn't something nearly finished/completed that they can just show off.
At best people should hope Bioware does this for future games or patch or a dlc (which I'm personally against)

It's amazing what a color change can do. That's why I'm supporting and requesting a color wheel for the Skyhold outfit for a DLC. It seems easier than making a new model. This would tie into a DLC that I would like to see, that also includes more hairstyles, particularly for the female Qunari.
Some sort of good appearance pack is what I would like to see. If one doesn't want it, it's not like EA or BioWare is putting a gun to their head and demanding they pay for an appearance DLC. For me, I would like the option and I would be willing to pay for it.
I'm also requesting a means to wear my armor at Skyhold. My rogue is going to be more than a little paranoid, since she's former Carta. Now, in her eyes, she's now got this "Savior of Thedas" burden to handle, with crazy robes (mages) and skirts (templars) alike trying to kill her. So it would make sense that she wore her gear even at her home base. She's a good person, but will be a very reluctant hero to start.

You know, I was just thinking of the armor dye DLC that I've seen proposed elsewhere applying to the casual outfit as well. I would be a lot happier with that outfit if I could just change the colors...
And yes, I would love it if the PC had the option wear armor at all times. Skyhold is relatively safe, but without their weapons and armor, the Inquisitor seem extremely vulnerable... this was fine on the Normandy because of the high-tech security measures, but I'd rather be safe than sorry if we're talking about the Middle Ages.

I think having a color wheel added, would be the easiest opition to added. Maybe with a patch and/or DLC more outfits can be added, but a color wheel will make things better IMO ![]()

That would be even better than dyes, but if Bioware wants to make a little money off this, I wouldn't hold it against them... I guess they could even make it a more interactive experience by having us craft dyes from in-game components? Common ones, of course, but it would be a step above flat out selling the dye.

Well I'm sure if Skyhold gets attacked you'll automatically appear in your armor ![]()

Even the Normandy wasn't completely safe without the squad around. Remember ME2 and the ship crew? I've concluded something in my 16 years of playing BioWare games: Nowhere is safe, not completely. Not your town, not your ship, not your keep. Sooner or later, someone is going to show up to wreck your home.
Well I'm sure if Skyhold gets attacked you'll automatically appear in your armor
Yeah, but I know my first Inquisitor would rather not change clothes, and I know that my second PC (a gay warrior based on Auron from FFX) isn't going to want to run around in causal clothes either. I hope by the time I'm ready to play my gay warrior, I'll have the option to just wear armor at Skyhold. ![]()

Oh, well if it works like Iron Man's suit, then it's all good... xD

Dyes were one of the first things they touted about armor customization in this game, now we're talking about it like possible DLC?

What are you saying? Have dyes been confirmed? The last I heard, armor took on the appearance of the materials it's made from... so basically we're all going to wind up in red dragonscale at the end if we want the strongest gear (um... assuming it's still red. It was in DA:O...).

Yeah it's kind of ridiculous we can have our armor come in multiple colors but that doesn't extend to the casual outfit =/

That's because those armor have to crafted unlike the casual outfit, now if we could craft multiple casual wear that would be cool

True.
If only there was a closet in the quizzy's room and they could dye their clothes there. *sigh*

I'm talking about how I distinctly remember Cameron Lee's "pinkquisition" comment from one of the E3s. I didn't hear about it being tied to materials, but it would be pretty lame if that customization choice was tied to armor power, because then it's hardly even a choice if your character values their survival.

Yeah, I think they scrapped that idea... possibly so that they could sell dye packs later. It's based on the materials now...
Unfortunately, there's no dev quote in this link, but there are a few people who heard the same thing I did, so that might be good enough...

Actually, if we had "casual outfit schematics," that would be a way to get different colors... sort of? Maybe it would just be all red or all black, which isn't much of an improvement...

If we could keep the grey pants from Natashina's screen shot and just change the top and boots to black, then fine. All black... no, that's too much like motorcycle outfit for my liking.
edit: Actually, now that I've said that, even with grey pants it reminds me of a biker outfit just like that one rogue Inquisitor I saw somewhat recently (I think he had a red mustache or something?)... I think it's that combination of studded pants and knee-high boots that's doing it.

I was wrong, he actually did say it's based on the materials which affect stats. So I just hope the materials are balanced so that there's no One True Material for any powergamer. (like having paragon fire or paragon ice runes, rather than fire being objectively the best rune)
I could have sworn they mentioned dyes at some point, maybe I was mistaken.
