I like the idea of a DLC that adds more choices of outfits. The game is about customizations adding more outfit choices would allow more option to those of us who don't want to wear armor but something more elegant (such as dresses or another form of noble wear). I also like the idea of a color wheel or even a casual apparel crafting option both would be a ton of fun. Also in my opinion worth waiting for. Here's to hoping something like that gets added.

I actually quite like the outfit but more options would be very welcome. Even if they were outfits that other NPC's wear (like some of the options for ME2 & 3) that'd be fine.

We need to keep this topic alive!

With the complaining done with, we should offer bioware a few suggestions on how they could handle it.

I know time and money are not on our side. The devs have been working very hard on this game, and I am very grateful for it.

The best course of action is to enable the option to wear pc armor in Skyhold. All the armor is completed, animated, and optimized. So literally no work at all. This should fix the problem in the short term .

It would work for me. :)

I agree, another option or two would be great (or at the very least a choice in colours).

All these option for Skyhold customisation and we're forced to run around it in our PJs.

Imagine what the Orlesian nobles would say.

I picture it being a statement about fashion, and about the truth of our bare bodies, representing the individuallity of the Inquisition,

That's very flowery and profound. I was pretty much just figuring everyone would want to see my dong.

I don't HATE the taupe/ecru/khaki pantsuit, but it's not particularly exciting.  If we had the ability to mod textures on PC, I would definitely want to at least recolor it per Inquisitor so that it fits their individual personality better, but I don't think that's happening.  Asking for DLC seems like a good idea to me, it would be the kind of thing that could be added to a bigger pack of armors/weapons or a mission based DLC, and it would be much appreciated.

The only outfit we'll need is a pink morning robe accompanied with bunny slippers.

I think that given the amount of body shapes there are would make it annoying for them to make many outfits that have a purely aesthetic value.

I agree that this thread needs to keep going. So the Devs can see that there is a chunk of fans that care what their inquisitors wear around skyhold. I was hoping that when they announced we would go to the Orlesian ball we would get to wear noble suits and dresses. It bothers me that I can walk around skyhold and see other nobles in beautiful dresses. But I'm stuck in one outfit that in my opinion doesn't scream leader of the inquisition. At least not for my femquisitor.

You'll see other nobles in beautiful dresses, you just won't be able to wear beautiful dresses yourself.

The Inquisition is invited to yet another fancy Orlesian ball.

Vivienne: Inquisitor, I don't think tan --

Inquisitor: Relax Vivienne, I have this. I've been preparing my small talk for days. *opens the double doors and enters with a flourish*

Stunned silence echoes around the room as both women and men gawk in their garish finery.

Lady Somethingorother: Inquisitor... I have to admit that is a... bold choice. Is that khaki or tan?

Inquisitor: VIVIENNE TOLD ME IT WAS IN! *rushes back out the doors, mounts up and gallops to Skyhold*

Vivienne: *huff*

Well hopefully they will add a DLC to fix that problem and my femquisitor will be the belle of both ball and skyhold ( Crossing Fingers )

I wonder did anyone try to ask the Devs if they are going to put a DLC for casual wear or if they are looking at different options?

Mike Laidlaw mentioned that as a possibility during one of his livestreams, so I would ask him.

So I'd just like to point out Sera's non-armored apparel is much more aesthetically pleasing than the Inquisitor's

I was about to point that out. Why can't our Inquisitor wear a nice relaxing tunic instead of the straitjacket? (at least that's what it looks like to me)
