I mean like just toggling entire armor off and on but don't have the helmet on when walking around in Skyhold so you're more like Cullen or Cassandra who are still wearing theirs.
Ah. Well, so far nothing that the devs have said have indicated that we can do that. In fact, they seemed surprised that folks were asking for more options. I would be okay with that, but it doesn't seem likely. With the exception of the old screenshots from E3, we haven't seen the Inquisitor in armor when in Skyhold. Still, it's a pretty good idea to suggest to the devs.
I just can't understand why they thought that customizing Skyhold took priority over a causal outfit. This is just my experience, and I'm not claiming to speak for anyone else. The first mod I downloaded ever for DA2? It was a dress replacement for the home outfit as well as for the MotA party. The first one I downloaded for ME2 and ME3? A coalesced file that gave me all of the causal outfits in the game. I consider that infinitely more important, since I'll be looking at that anytime I'm at "home."
I liked ME's approach for the captain's cabin. In ME2 and ME3, you can pick up some fish for your fish tank, and model ships. Later, you can even get your dog tags on display as well as a husk (read: space techno zombie) head and yes, a space hamster. I liked that, because it added a little personalization to my cabin without feeling like I was getting sidetracked. To me, that was one of the best examples of mild customization for a homebase without going overboard. Yes, I know that the ME team and the DA team are mostly different (members of the ME team did work on DA:I) but it strikes me as a good idea.
