Maybe mods could fix that too? I mean I know it is sad that we have so little options when it comes to formal or casual attire. Personally I would prefer at least two options or three. One more practical military, one funny and casual and other more flashy with glamour.
Hopefully. My hopes aren't high though ![]()

No.
As I said in the Twitter thread:

Mike Laidlaw @Mike_Laidlaw
So, since, like billions of you are asking: no, you cannot change you Skyhold outfit. Maybe someday, but not at launch.
^You forgot the snarky bits after that, Keith. Lmao

Well, based on the pic of the male Dwarf, I don't think the outfit will look that bad on male characters at least. It looks like he is wearing a vest or a doublet over a shirt as opposed to the pantsuit look of femQuisitor.
Man, I wonder if Mike can tell the fan's reaction to the skyhold outfit. x'D I wonder how many people tweeted him.

@Mike_Laidlaw Ah that's too bad. I would think a couple of extra outfits wouldn't have been too much extra work, but it's no biggie.
@User Sure. And how do you change them? A new UI. And how do you fit them in memory, and... and...
@Mike_Laidlaw I understand Mike, it's for the better I'm sure. Would it require a new UI though? Can't use the same UI as the armor screen?
@User No.
@User In general, if it were "really easy" assume that we would have done it. If ti wasn't done, it wasn't "really easy".
I feel like he has seen the reaction and that's why I believe they will give more options in a DLC or maybe that justy wishful thinking.
They're pretty much use to these reactions
I wonder why the armor UI wouldn't work, but then again, I am no computer programmer. ![]()

Is it me, or does Laidlaw sound kind of annoyed?
edit: Because it would be unfortunate if people were nagging or being rude to him online...

Maybe just tired.
He shouldn't be annoyed at the reaction when they went on and on about how customizable the game is and then having only one outfit in a single color for the Inquisitor's casual attire, something that will be on screen for dozens of hours.

I agree, but I hope nobody was rude to him... sometimes people on the internet forget that they're talking to other humans (or they just don't care).
At this stage every time it emerges that a feature like this will not be in the game: (A) Lots and lots of people ask Mike Laidlaw about it on twitter, (B) they insist that it would have been easy to implement despite knowing very little about game design and production in general or Inquisition's in particular and © they insist it should have been a top priority. I think that it's reasonable that he'd be a little annoyed by now, particularly at this stage of the project.

I can't really say. The person he replied to and the people who replied at least weren't mean about it.
I think the crafting/skyhold upgrade UI would have the perfect place to implement it, (you know, where you're picking all the various styles for your decor) but maybe that's just me idk. I'll echo the same sentiment though. The outfit itself isn't bad. The bones are good! It's just... a really bland color. I think black, dark brown, navy or a dark green might have been a better "neutral" choice here. Too late now. We'll have to see if it changes. I guess I was also maybe expecting the main insignia of the Seekers/The Inquisition on the casual attire, but I suppose not all players want to use that as the symbol of their Inquisition. (Although I think a lot of your foot soldiers might wear it? I haven't really been able to tell, but I've sorta been assuming that the big sun-eye symbol is the standard insignia for the Inquisition.)

The symbol of the Inquisition is the sun-eye with a sword behind it. After the first Inquisition broke apart, the symbol was split into the sun eye, which came to represent the Seekers, and the sword, which came to represent the Templars.
It should be customazible and changable. On some days there has to be laundry day on Skyhold and our Inquisitors don't want to run around as the Maker created them! ![]()

Just because the casual wear is only one outfit doesn't go against that

I never said it didn't. But people's expectations naturally went too high because everything else had so many options that it was only logical to think the same for casual attire.
I would like a variety of casual outfits to choose from, so I hope there are a few other options added later on. I'm afraid that the current casual outfit reminds me vaguely of a burlap sack - and I'm not really down with that. What can I say, I'm a Project Runway addict who prefers a teensy bit more style in her future femquisitor's casual wear. ![]()
