Looking at the video they just released, it does have shiny details. Honestly, I'd be super happy to just be able to change colors. I can understand that it takes quite some effort to design something new and/or enabling armor in Skyhold can maybe cause trouble with some cutscenes (e.g. sitting on your throne judging the **** out of everyone in bulky armor), but colors....come on Bioware you should be able to do this.

This would more or less satisfy me. If I could make it grey or navy it would be tolerable. Head to toe beige is just disgusting though, I don't know what they were thinking.

I'd be perfectly happy with colour adjustments. I seem to remember putting Shepard in teal green armour in Mass Effect, why can't I do the same for my skyhold outfit?

Literally ALL they have to do to satisfy me is give us the option to craft the under-armor/casual clothing separately from the rest of our armor, and wear the crafted version made of the materials we want in Skyhold.

Honestly, I'm totally cool with the outfit we have to wear in the keep. I think it's kind of sexy, actually. Looks great on a male Inquisitor. Though I do agree that options would be nice. Still, it's not a big deal for me as I do like the outfit.

Might not be the taste to all but I would love to have some casual wear like these for my more dress loving PCs, simple (aside from the ball gown) yet still pretty and worn by my favorite princess.

It's a really weird design choice, I guess they just had too many other things that are arguably much more important to devote time to changing it. Still though, it is such a weird little outfit and one that doesn't really match anything in the preceding games or what we've seen of the current game. It's like a sparkly captains uniform. Yeah, just really odd choice to have you locked into it and have it be so strange.

Mass Effect 3 has several different outfits you could wear while on the Normandy, Casual Attire if you will, it is a shame they did not do the same here.
Hopefully they will look into sneaking in Color Changes, or maybe atleast several pre-set colors scheme's we can choose from. I'd be happy with that atleast.
But if not I'm sure it will be a welcome DLC addition.
Until then Earl Grey, Hot. it is.

Well, I suppose it's probably easier to put all Inquisitors in the same outfit for cutscenes sake and there's less animations to do with only one template. But it would be nice if the Skyhold outfit was a bit diversed. So I thought about some different options:
1. different outfit colour based on your race - green with gold elements for elves; grey and red for qunari; brown and orange for dwarfs; maybe black and blue for humans.
2. different outfit based on your class - warrior could have some more metal on the outfit; mages have something similar to Leliana tunic, but maybe shorter; rogue could stay with default outfit.
3. if the outfit must stay the same for all Inquisitors, what about some kind of embroidery, like a small logo, showing your class, like little sword for warriors, book for mages and bow or arrow for rogues?

The only real problem I have is that, with all the color around them, the Inquisitor in such plain clothes just looks kind of like the color map never loaded...

I'm sure they were going for something neutral enough that it would be inoffensive to most players. Perhaps their interpretation of "neutral" was just a bit too literal.

They should have gone with black, then. Black goes with everything.

Yep throwing my lot in here for multilple casual outfits as well. I just can't see some of my planned Inquisitors wearing that outfit. It might work for some, like my female qunari mage, but for my elven mage I kinda wished for a more "dalish" looking outfit, something she would be comfortable wearing, that reminds her of her clan, something she would have brought with her herself. More along the lines of Merrill's outfit and concepts.

I would like to have other cloth option with more vibrant colors. Beige is too dull amidst all the lovely clothing everyone else will wear.

damn they can at least make a patch what give us(like we go to wardrobe and when we activate it we have a dialogue of what color of clothes do we wear now....dark screen and we are wearing what we wanted) change colors-textures of clothes if not wear different ones...
personaly i would like to wear some dalish, tevinter, dwarven clothes for my elf/kossith/dwarf mage Inquisitors
and it would be better if we have mirror to change our hairstyle and tatto

i personally have no problem with the casual outfit, i don't mind if they don't give us different options but it would be cool if it took the colour of the armour you
are wearing before you enter skyhold each time.

The outfit is not bad. But seems like the textures where forgotten. The color is very bland, and so uniform that it seem more a prison uniform that a head of a powerful militar organization to me ![]()

An my Eavan would much prefer to be wearing a dress that assists her in using her femine wiles. Something like this:

Acantha would be fine with the current outfit because she prefers modest, sensible clothing.
