i would love to have the option to unlock more outfits, like your default one is related to your origin and you unlock the different ones throughout the game so you could unlock ones like;

inquisition casual attire

ferelden

orlesian

tevinter

qunari

elven

and so on and so forth... i wouldnt be apposed to them bringing in at least a couple just to give you that smaller bit of freedom in this regard

Why should Bioware have to address everything people don't seem to like?

I'm sorry but I don't see the relevance of you being here if your going to challenge everyone's idea which is generally the same and the reason they should address it sir is because its seems like a lot of people are bothered by it. It may not be important to you but its kind of an issue to me.

I asked why Bioware should address everything people seem to have issues, there are things that Bioware should address (which they did already) but I feel they shouldn't have to address every detail people seem to have issues with Imho

Of course they shouldn't.

I am trying to make a suggestion, the community would greatly appreciate this addition, and we explained our arguments. We're not forcing Bioware to adress every single one of our needs, we're just making our voice heard :).

I really don't understand why there is only one casual outfit.

I was really surprised to find out there was only one casual outfit. I know there had only been one in the past game, however, I thought with how in-depth the customization appears to be, that we would have a few options, or at least be allowed to change the color. I hope they do end up adding more options, like... a hooded cape. Or just a cape. A black cape.

This is one area the Da team need to do better. The mass effect team added more casual outfits with each game. But the da team only stay with one i would like some dlc for this or give the player the option to keep his armour on.

Fun fact they actually have a color pallet for the nations that will be playing a role.

Orlais: blue, silver, gold and laqure

Fereldn: yellow, grey, fur, and iron

Tevinter: White, black, basalt and Obsidon.

I would also like to have some sort of chantry inspired casual outfit, but that is also because I am going with a pro-chantry inquistor as my first one.

OH COME ON.

We can put all that effort into our armor and get stuck with that grey abomination in skyhold?

I'd be perfectly happy with being able to put my Inquisitor into the casual clothes worn by npcs. I accept that lower quality and race restrictions will be a factor, I don't care I just want some variety.

It seems like it would be easy to reuse an asset like that, but there are less-obvious complications that make it nearly impossible.

The PC can be one of many body types, whereas outfits for NPCs are only ever adjusted to the dimensions and animations of a single body type - the NPC's. The NPC usually doesn't share dimensions and animations with the PC character (even if they are the same species) meaning that the outfit can't be reused as an asset without be re-designed and re-animated.

Yes yes it is.

It wasn't too bad when it was the gold version because them boots but now it looks so bland that yeah it's that bad.

It wouldn't be so bad if I could recolor the damn thing to black to make the ugly a bit less visible but I can't even do that.

To be perfectly honest, I kind of like the design. I doubt it's going to bother me. More would be good, but it's hardly something I want them dedicating resources to.

If they add one or two outfits in one of the later patches, great. If not, I doubt I'll remember that I cared by the time I finished the game.

Well the idea was put out there so it's open to disagreement not just agreement. Also if you can't get him and others like him to care about or understand why this is an issue why should Bioware care about it?

I'm sure there's some people who would like more options in the casual clothing department but the amount of importance they can stake on the issue can vary greatly. I mean is anyone not buy the game over this? I doubt it.

Would I personally like more options? Sure, more options is always nice. Do I see a point in partitioning the dev to put more time and effort into casual wear? Not really.

I would imagine that after awhile there will be mods for dai, the question is how long will it take for people to figure out how to mod the game due to FB3

Perhaps they could allow us to change the colours, that would be nice.
