Are you going to be biased towards your advisers?

Lets face it, poor Josephine needs to really convince me to heed her advice. It's weird, but there's a probable chance i'll choose to follow Lelianna over both my advisers even if it's detrimental to my Inquisition. Bias can really impact one's thought process and i'm overly biased towards Lelianna. She's in love with my warden and in my cooky mind, as a result of that, my Inquisitor is going to be looking out for her best interests. I'm hoping for the prospects of a Quizzy and Warden fist bump moment. Some of us might not even know, but subconsciously favor a more relatable character over logic.

So the question is: How many of you will be neutral going into the game, and will bias towards a certain character impact your overall choices?

I'm inclined to want to avoid bloodshed where possible, and Josephine is awesome in general, so I'll likely be taking her advice more often than not.

Live allies are better than corpses, and all that. Not to mention I want all of the dialogue/persuasion perks. All of them, ASAP.

probably not.  I actually like all my advisors.  I will make RP choices on who I want to send for what mission.  My first playthrough will be with my qunari male warrior.  He will be diplomatic in nature and will send Josephine more often than not.   I actually feel for Josephine, I am a counselor IRL and I always believe in having good communication.  If that doesn't work, I don't mind sending Cullen in for aggressive negotiations.

Probably, depending on the character I'm playing. The character will be biased, that is. I have a feeling my first Quizzie will think spying is like, so cool, and Leliana is like. So hot...-and will want to do her choices unless it's an action against groups she likes. She's kind of a weenie, so I see Cullen getting ignored a lot, and Josie being second pick. But hopefully the situations are complex enough that she'll use all of them for different reasons.

For me it not be a question of would I be biased as opposed to is my character going to be biased. Elias Trevelyan was raised to be a loyal Andrastian with a leaning towards martial honour who had expected to serve his life as a Templar so he might me more inclined towards a military solution or a diplomatic solution given his family's high status needless force would reflect poorly on them. The concept of sending assassins or doing something "dishonourable" would be repugnant to him and therefore he would probably avoid Leliana's advice. On the other hand, Fann Cadash was brought up in the Carta where honour just isn't practical and it is more preferable to settle things with a knife as opposed to a great sword so sending someone one to assassinate someone would actually be viewed as the most straightforward and therefore most preferable solution.

I'm playing a militant, bloodthirsty Templar; don't expect to see much from Josie on that playthrough,

I am bias toward my own reason.

My advisors are there for exactly that purpose... advisement.

I will listen to what they have to say - then do what I believe to be the best course of action for Thedas first, the Inquisition second and anything else last.

It will depend on the situation, and whether spycraft, diplomacy, or a military offensive seems like it would be the best course for the situation at hand.

I plan to just let Josephine run the Inquisition so I can go kill things.

My first playthorugh is going to be a pro-templar who wants Thedas to recognize the Inquisition's power so Josephine might not be getting much love from my first Inquisitor.

I think I'm going to be a situational kind of guy when it comes to advisors.  So I imagine I'll take their advice about evenly.

My Inquisitor will have little interest in former paramours and who the Warden or Hawke were friends with. Each situation will be judged based on its own merits and what he believes will be the most efficient and practical course of action. Avoiding bloodshed at all cost, of course, would be the preferred solution, in terms of public approval and overall the Inquisition's reputation. However, the Inquisition exists for the very purpose of establishing order in a world that has none. Very few Inquisitions have existed in the history of Thedas. It is an order of last resort. Regardless of who your Inquisitor is, your primary objective is to bring sanity back to the world and seal the Fade from Thedas permanently.

I'll probably defer to Josephine and Leliana more often than to Cullen, because I don't find Cullen attractive.  Poor Cullen.

Well I know Leliana quite well and would probably naturally trust her more than the others. However Josephine made a huge first impression in that stream a week ago. So, at the moment the order would be Leliana, Josephine, Cullen.

No, I doubt I will be biased towards them.  Well, except maybe for Cullen because...romance.

But, I think I'll most likely be seeing / agreeing with Josie a lot.  I like to avoid bloodshed when possible, and she is the diplomatic / persuasive type.  Also, I never really liked Leliana from the beginning, soooooo.... >_>  I don't think I'll be biased to any of them realistically.  They will each serve a purpose within the plot and the war table missions.  I'll try and take the approach that is most effective or beneficial.

I think Cullen is smokin' hot, but my mage Trevelyan is going to favor diplomacy every time, even though she's sleeping with the military Commander. ;)

I don't think my first Inquisitor will make make much use of Leliana and her spy network... for the most part I'll be going with a mix of diplomacy and military on my first playthrough.

I can't think of many things that are better solved with swords than through espionage and diplomacy. Still, I agree that weakening the Breach is a better idea than strengthening the inquisitor's hand... so perhaps Cullen will surprise me.

i think each choice on the War Table will be situational. In previous streams it's been shown that certain advisors will be more effective (time wise at least) for each individual mission. In saying that the conversation between Josie, the Inquisitor and Leliana butting in was really interesting to see. For that particular quest I'd take Josie's word and let it doing her way, especially if that quest is similar to companion's quests in previous games - even though I might not agree it's best to help out your friends in whatever way they see fit.

I like diplomatic/merchent and money based solutions so I'll probably go to Josie a lot. I'll have to be playing specifically assasiny/militaristic characters to try out Cullen and Leliana.

When I play the game I believe I will be thinking of who will be best suited to the task. Some tasks require different methods to achieve the best results and that's why we have three different advisers.
