No, I don't think my first Inquisitor will be overly bias towards any one direction/Adviser and will openly consider all options and alternatives for each situation. I think he'll be more inclined to go the diplomatic/peaceful route in many cases, but I'm sure there will be times when he feels that more drastic, quick, or bloody options will be necessary.
Are you going to be biased towards your advisers?

Bias will have nothing to do with it, for me. I will hear about the mission, listen to the advice given and choose what I feel is the most appropriate and intelligent option.
Unless I'm RPing a character that loves chaos. In that case, I will try to screw stuff up as much as possible. ![]()

Yes. I hate Cullen. I don't give a crap about anything he has to say. I probably won't even be paying attention.

There are two situations where I will definitely be biased:
1. In my Josiemance playthrough, I'll probably take her advice more than others. Hoping the Inquisitor gets called out on it.
2. First time around, I'll do everything I can to avoid Leliana's torture in Redcliffe. That means she won't step foot anywhere near the place.
Other then those, I'm open to advice from each adviser.

I've got the opposite problem as the OP. I don't care for Leliana and have made no secret of it. I'm prepared to accept her as an adviser because I have to. She's supposed to be colder and more human, and I'll believe that when I see it in action. The worst part is, I'm really more into the kind of strategy she represents, so I'll probably have to use her a lot. This is a source of concern, as I can already predict a few personal decisions that aren't going to feel good.
I have no real love for Cullen (disliked him in DA2 and thought he was a mamby-pamby in DAO). I haven't met Josephine yet, but I'm all for avoidance of bloodshed, so Josephine's my girl.
I'll go at it with an open mind. Leliana might not be the Maker's next chosen one. (If she is, I want to see her assumed, body and all, to the Maker's side.) Cullen might have grown a spine. Josephine might be secretly selling secrets to Zev's rival or something.
We'll see.

I'll most likely be relying on political and military force. Lelianna will certainly be a good asset but Josie and Cullen will be most used.

It will really depend on each Inquisitor I play. Here is the current list.
Elinan Lavellan- rogue with a very practical approach. Solas romance. Will judge each mission on its own merits but probably go with Leliana or Cullen more often.
Adahsulahn Lavellan - mage, compassionate but aware compassion is not always practical. Will probably favor Josie (or Cullen as she likely will romance him)
Masie Cadash - rogue, likely Iron Bull romance, very practical and accustomed to working within the Carta. Biased toward Leliana's methods
Asaarash Adaar- rogue or warrior, gentle soul, Josie romance. Bias toward Josie or Cullen
Cael Trevelyan - mage, team change the world with Dorian. Bias toward anything that furthers freedom for mages - probably Josie
Egmond Trevelyan - warrior, Cassandra romance. Bias toward honest and noble approaches - most likely Cullen
Rajya Adaar- mage, lost soul, probably Blackwall romance. Will probably be inconsistent as she tries to find herself.

Probably, depending on the character I'm playing. The character will be biased, that is. I have a feeling my first Quizzie will think spying is like, so cool, and Leliana is like. So hot...-and will want to do her choices unless it's an action against groups she likes. She's kind of a weenie, so I see Cullen getting ignored a lot, and Josie being second pick. But hopefully the situations are complex enough that she'll use all of them for different reasons.

Kara who is probably going to be my main canon Inquisitor prefers working behind the scenes and not drawing too much attention to the Inquisition if she can avoid it, so lots of espionage, because she does not want to deal with nobles and politics and the game as much as possible. So the Inquisition will be an underground network as much as possible gathering information and being Inquisitive rather then busting down doors, though I imagine she will have to go to the political end more often then not and will have to get involved with senior matters of state.

He was very, extremely, totally annoying in DA:O. Much less so in DA2. Anders took over in that department. In my humble opinion.
I don't get the fanbase. But whatev's.

To address the OP... I will probably be intrigued with Leliana and how she's changed. That may bias me towards her, honestly. But we'll see, I haven't experienced the other characters.

Since I like roleplaying it depends on the character.
Enansal Lavellan: Dalish female mage she favors the dalish, she likes to go with the pragmatic opition for the most part. So it will depend on the mission.
Navilia Trevelyan: Human female rogue, her main bias is towards the Andrastian chantry. She leans towards more diplomatic opitions so likely more of josephine.

Ofcourse I will be biased. Or to put it more correctly my character will (although I confess some of my own bias will most likely leak from me too - for example I will have real hard time RP a character that 'likes' Cullen).
My first inquisitor will be Qunary mage and she will distrust (and dislike) templars so Cullen will have a hard time proving himself, but ultimately see him as necessary evil.
...my second will probably be an elf so - dislike all 3 just for being humans:))
...as far as I can tell (as I am hoping that will be at least few months) my dwares and humans will see things differently - but the poor man will have to deal with alot of angry/dismissive comments first ![]()

I don't beileve if I'll favor one adviser over another based on their personalities... More like, I'll favor an aspect based on what the problem is. After all, while it's fun to murder people willy-nilly in Orlais, it'd be better to be diplomatic near Antiva where the crows could get involved...

I imagine if you favor one adviser over the others it's going to backfire hard. It might even be bad for the adviser you're favoring. For example,
Its best to just go with whatever plan sounds best. Of course that could backfire too, but you're guaranteed to get a few losses if you always listen to one adviser over the others.

My very first play of Origins was a female elf mage, Cullen was very cute in conversations with me on that play-through and I have thought him to be adorable every since. That is my reason for liking Cullen though

Depends on what they're saying to me. If it sounds good, I'll go with that, but if someone says things that consistently sound stupid to me, he or she can suck it and go cry in the corner.

Yeah, because I love Leliana so I'll be going with her and Cullen more often my first time around. But, my second play through will be as a Trevelyan mage and I'm going romance Josephine so I will do her advice a lot more than I do in the first play through.

When I encounter him as a male PC, he's in a force field scared of the blood mages and ranting about killing all the mages.
I'm curious, for females, what does he do that's so cute or whatever? The presence of a female makes him less paranoid?

I'm usually diplomatic and peaceful so I'll likely go with Josephine most of the time. I am biased against Leliana for being a Wesley Crusher, but if her way seems like it will work the best then I'll try to get over my feelings on her.
