Your Inquisitor doesent know that Leliana and the warden is romatically involved.
Also your Inquisitor know little to nothing about the warden him/herself.

Man up and roleplay without metagaming / cheating ? ;)

Bite your tongue!

Full approvals all around before getting to the Broken Circle/Deep Roads Expedition equivalent.

I don't do favorites. I'll go with what feels is best.

I plan on playing a rogue; so intrigue, guile, and smoothtalking are going to be what I focus on the most. Cullen and his soldiers will be on the sidelines a lot, while Leliana and Josephine get most of the attention. My Trevalyan rogue respects Cullen because he's a loyal Andrastian at heart... but brute force doesn't fit into his plans.

I don't ignore my teachers advise if i hate their guts. They probably know what they are doing.

You haven't gone to school in Utah.

I'll try not to be biased, but I'm afraid I'll end up choosing the options that make me interact with Liara Leliana the least since I can't stand her, lol.

I want to play a playthrough where I can entirely distrust Cullen without any bad repercussion or fire him and replace him with a better war advisor.

Distrust is likely possible. Fire and/or change him...not likely.

I think it depends on the type of character I'm playing really. A character more invested in diplomacy or manipulation will be more likely to hear Josephine out while a more tyrannical character would mix between Cullen and Leliana (take out enemies in any way possible).

I do know my first (blind) playthrough will be more sensible, focusing more on what solution sounds like the best idea. If I need forces taken down or some extra manpower, Cullen will be my guy. If I feel someone can be reasonable or there's a nonviolent way to deal with the situation, Josephine's the one to call. If someone just needs to be taken from the shadows, Leliana will be chosen. I'm not going to favor one over the other based on who I like more or dislike, at least not in my first run. Probably not in my subsequent runs either considering I'm not the biggest Leliana/Cullen fan (or hater for that matter. Could actually care less about either one really. Glad to have their service and aid for what it is and leave it at that).

Not at all. Love or friendship or attractiveness won't change anything. They are advisers, I'm in charge. I'll listen and decide what I feel the best for the inquisition or against the enemy or at least according to the personality of my inquisitor. Nothing but what appears to be a good solution will influence or affect me.

I know I will not like Cullen.
I've never liked him.

He's always struck me as a crazy, self-absorbed, mage-hating ******, and it's all mostly because of what happened to him in The Circle.

My canon Magequisitor will absolutely ignore him.

I'm going to be boning Josephine. How am I not supposed to develop bias towards my bedwarmer?

I've actually been surprised by your responses, I've read every single one of them. Most of you thus far have stated that bias will not impact your gameplay. I find that interesting, I wonder what would've happened if we flipped the script and put our Warden in the position of Cullen. Would we be more inclined to heed advice from a character who we once played?

Not as a result of the characters so much as their methods; it's likely Leliana's solutions will generally appeal most to me.

Cullen all the way. This old farmer needs seven spindleweeds to feed her rabbits? Send a batallion of armored soldiers.

A Tevinter emissary has been spotted heading for Skyhold? Send a batallion.

Val Royeaux dance ball? Batallion.

Don't know anything about advisers, but they better have good advice or they'll have my boot and can advise themselves on feeding rats in the Inquisition's dungeons.

You mean change the "All mages are evil" guy for the "I love you mom" guy?

Despite my dislike of Cullen and ambivalence to Leliana, I will endeavour to be a fair Inquisitor who considers all their suggestions equally for each task as it arises.

Actually, no. I'm only interested in sensible, reasonable and intelligent advice, doesn't matter where it comes from.

Prehaps in the little things but no I don't think so. I'd like to keep everyone at least somewhat happy so I might try to listen more to someone if i notice I have ignored them. If I choose to work with the mages I might for example try to listen more to Cullen in other things. Over all other things however I and my first inquisitor is a pragmatist.

I thought i would be biased, but now with the system we are doing, it seems different. I will probably use all 3 of them, if I want to complete quests in a timely manner, I will have to. When it comes to when they talk to one another? I probably will lean toward Josie. But with missions? I will try to send Josie on the biggest quests, cullen on the least important, and leliana on the things inbetween so i can utilize it to my fullest.

I think not.. advisors are,as the title suggests, there to give THEIR opinion on the given subject.. as in real life I would listen to their input, consider the various implication and then make a decision that suits MY overall goal... My point being that in real life you might want to hear the opinion  of a significant other but you would not endanger your career or business on personal sympathy or animosity..

Right now based on initial impressions i'd say Josephine's likely to be sidelined to doing parperwork in Skyhold by me, with Cullen and Leilana being the advisors my inquisitor trusts and uses.

I adore Leliana but I don't always agree with her views or methodology. And now that I think about it I'll probably feel the same way about all 3 of the Inquisition's advisors by the end of the game. I don't see myself favoring any of their advice, at least not intentionally.
