30.1

While playing Overlord, I thought "hm, nice DLC but nothing too special". Loved the music and feel of things but I wasn't exactly overwhelmed.

Then I got to the end where we see Dvid hooked up to the machine and have that confrontation with Gavin Archer and that was IMO one of THE best moments in ME2, if not in any BioWare game. It is so full of emotion, the images, the voice overs and then I even get a paragon interrupt to hit that SOB, it was exactly what I wanted to do. This moment just hit home. With LotSB, Overlord does have very tough competition but because of that finale, I consider it right up there.

Meeting David in ME3 is of course the icing on the cake. It did hit me just because of the memories I had from Overlord.

To bring this thread forward:

Another few good scenes happen during Tali's loyalty mission in ME2. Not necessarily the trial itself. I think the trial is a bit stupid at times (although Shep has some great lines in it as well). No, one of my favorite moments is when they are all done and Shep calls her Tali Zora vas Normandy. It just says it all. Also, I really like talking to Kal'reegar on that mission. Gotta love Adam Baldwin's delivery of the line "I'll work on that ma'am". :)

Colonist shep talking to that young woman who had been taken by the same slavers on Mindoir thirteen years previously. "I remember... me."
