- Increase number of hamsters powering the servers from 2 to 5.
- Give the hamsters regular food/sleep/restroom breaks.
- Replace dead hamsters as needed.

Sell your soul to our EA overlords and you shall have no-stop connection to Origin.
Have you tried going online?
Assuming direct control of Lolrigin! Can't you just use you omni-tool to play Mass Effect 3?
EA please buff Origin.
Your ISP is much more to blame for the frequent disconnects than Origin or EA is. Since moving to UK I have had no disconnects at all and almost no lag. Before I was using an 8Mbps DSL connection and now I am using a 100Mbps broadband connection. The difference in speed and reliability is night and day and most importantly there are absolutely no disconnects, proving without a shadow of doubt that Origin is not as bad as haters make it out to be.

Awful difficult to post on this forum offline.
no u
I thought you played with FinnClan regularly?Question:Would guinea pigs actually be an upgrade over hamsters? I am unfamiliar with rodentia.

Let's see some facts

TCP port 14231
masseffect3.exe (Mass Effect 3 by BioWare)
TCP port 14225

This explains something: I'm afraid it has nothing to do with your actual connection type, it's just because you're in the UK, you're unlikely to have packet loss to that EA server.

I've got a gaming buddy who rages atm about BT and the weeks they need to fix his internet. Apparently they now need to send a technician to change his phone number. What's your provider?
This is why I will not buy ME4 unless ea gives us at least 27 hamsters to power the servers instead of just 3 like ME3...
P.S. I heard from an insider source that we are only down to 1 now as one hamster died 2 days after the release of ME3. The second one died mid last year and this current hamster we have got is dying due to a sickness that ea just can't be bothered to send it to a vet... ![]()

They tried it, but we ended up with rainbow banners.

I heard that guinea pigs' got fragile hips. It wasn't pretty when they tried it...
Question:
I am unfamiliar with rodentiae.
Fixed. Also, they aren't unfamiliar with you. Right now, there's an R. rattus or R. norvegicus gnawing on a cable less than 50 metres from you. At least one.

At least now we know what's behind "hamsters" euphemism.

I'm gonna have to agree with this. The servers pissed me off constantly when I was on Xbox, I was wired in at 25Mbps and got constant disconnects. After I got bored and stopped playing this game for a while, then when I was finally able to build my own PC, our ISP upgraded their infrastructure (finally) and I now have 100Mbps internet. I've only had 1 disconnect in the 5-6 months I've had my PC.
But your original post was awesome, 10/10. ![]()

I have 300 Mbps optical fiber broadband and I still have disconnects.
This is why. Dam clones.
Dear people waving your broadband connection speed eDongs around:
ME3MP requires about 1 Mb/s to run perfectly smoothly. Going from 25 to 100 will make exactly zero difference.
Now, what's the fastest way to move 100 TB of data from the top floor to the ground floor of Biovar headquarters?
