Bioware... Please please PLEASE make a new challenge for this event. I don't have any of the weekend challenges as I didn't really start playing me3 my until after they finished. I'd love to have just one extra banner!

This is a common request, and the answer is the same as it always has been.

 

There will be no more challenges or banners. There is no longer an ME 3 MP team working on the game, and thus there is no one to make the challenge. Some of the former team still work for BioWare, but are busy with Dragon Age: Inquisition, as that is their job now. Some will transition to DA Q&A and continue to work in support, but none will ever be transferred back to ME 3 MP, because the budget for ME 3 MP support staff was scheduled to end in March of 2013, exactly one year after ME 3's release.

I'm expecting a new DLC w/ new characters, maps or even weapons.

Like an Ardat-Yakshi adept: Reave, Flare, Dominate. And the Firebase Citadel. etc.

Now time to wake up.

N7 day: get yourself a group of skilled players and complete your manifest.

I wouldn't exactly call the past challenges "challenges."  They usually meant playing in one or two normal games until the "challenge" was completed.  They should have just handed out free weapon packs each week and skipped them altogether.

These are the end of days for ME3 MP.

 

Not to say it won't be played more. Heck, it could last to 2016 or the whole decade.

 

But now is the time for them to be putting 100% of MP work on the next Mass Effect. For all we know, it'll be out within the next year (or at least two).

Some of us no doubt will be playing DA:I when it comes out.  Since it's a Bioware game, it doesn't feel like jumping ship

 

Some games already run their entire course without reinforcements arriving.  DA:I will probably have a noticable impact.

That's actually not true. It would require having staff members working on ME 3 MP to do that, making it no different from creating a new challenge - no staff, no challenge.

Ach, it just isn't the same with silly elves, dwarves and dragons. No Turian, no headbutts, no Quarian hipshaking, no blue space babes or trenchcoat freaks chucking grenades.

I guess I'll pick that Legionnaire and imagine it's RiotPolice, the N7 Paladin, or the Elementalist as General Electric, Human Engie.
