I always thought that the particals where so that you easily could grasp the entire scene as you skipped from character to character, purple sparks? What the hell triggered Varrics explosive arrow. But yes it's a bit overboard.

Sigh, i wish we could've seen Sera use a Tempest skill....

But on the other hand, i liked the video. The companions have some awesome personalities and i cant wait to explore them when Inquisition comes out.

Also at about 1min 16sec, does Iron Bulls reaver skill (the red dragon claw).....did it ignite the enemy he killed?
cause if that skill does ..... I want a Inquisitor Reaver at some point

Agree with other comments, what the heck happened to Iron Bull's voice. The other video with FPJ he actually showed decent range and not sounding like FPJ...

Ergh.....Iron Bull *blech* (don't like his design or his voice, clownpants I'm okay with....they are distracting in battle, and take focus out of battle away from his silly bovine horns)

Iron Bull's voice kind of reminded me of Stallone, and its unexpectedly awesome...a nice change from the rather typical guttural Qunari voice I was expecting to hear.

Sera is perfect. It's going to take all my willpower not to roll a female character just for her.

 

Really not keen on Iron Bull's voice. This is the first Bioware VA decision that has felt completely wrong, though I'm glad they at least dropped that weird fake voice FPJ was doing earlier. Maybe it won't seem so bad after getting used to it.

 im really liking Sera, but i have to agree the iron bull stuck out and not in a good way, its sadly the first thing i noticed. I just dont think eddie/freddie whatever is a very good actor. His delivery always feels flat, and its for that reason i never interacted with that vega dude in mass effect 3, hell when someone mentioned vega a while back i couldnt even remember who that was, thats how much of an impression he made.

yes his voice was even worse, the whole forced gruff and rough guy, i dont understand how they couldve even considered that. There are voice actors who can pull it off, but the guy voice acting bull aint one of em.

Ok, I think Sera's voice is going to annoy the heck out of me.

 

Dorian was my least anticipated companion because he looked like he could be a poor stereotype, but since, what I've seen of him I like. I still don't know who I'm going to prefer between him and Solas, but right now, I think one of those two will be my go to party mage (Viv is still a dark horse though; I just don't know enough about her).

 

And I don't know about Iron Bull either.

I don't think FPJ sounded bad, he just sounded more like FPJ than the first video.  Whatevs, I love IB already & FPJ is so enthusiastic about the game that I'm sure it'll sound great once we acclimate ourselves to it.

Really hoping to see more of these for the other companions to help us make our minds of which companions we want to focus on basing our party around.

While I'm definitely thinking of having Dorian and Sera, the warriors all look like amazing character with interesting backgrounds.

And Varic though...That dwarfish charm...damn.
