Yeah...I'm kind of wary about how the game will look on last gen. systems...PS4/Xbone and PC seem to be the optimal way to play the game.

I'll be playing on PS3.  I never get a new system before a price drop.  Fancy graphics are nice, but they aren't the most important thing to me.   Story, lore, characters, and gameplay are what I'm looking forward to.

I am getting it on the 360....When I am done with grad school I will reward myself with a xbox1 or ps4.  I do have a decent PC but I don't plan on getting dragon age on it since I played the previous iterations on my 360.

I'm getting it on the 360. Holding off on a new system until they get a bigger library, and when improved console models come out (smaller size, more reliable hardware, much larger storage space, etc.).

This is Battlefield 4 on Xbox 360 can't see a problem myself. The only reason I updated now was because AC:U is only on current gen. I will play AC:R on my PS3 though and not have a problem with the graphics quality.

They refuse to show how it looks on last gen. It'll probably look like B4 on last gen, like crap.

Oh thank goodness I am not the only one playing it on Xbox 360! I do not see the point on forking out 300 pounds and then some for a console, when there is only one game I want to play on it! Besides, I am still playing Fallout, Dishonored, and the previous DA's on the 360. :)

Wow, I didn't expect there would be so many people in the same boat as me! I'm also getting DA:I for X360, I don't have next-gen, a good PC, or the cash to get either of them.

Likewise Still playing Bayonetta GTAV  & Xcom: Enemy Within  to name a few of last gen's greats . Sometimes I get the feeling that people forget that next gen consoles  do have not have any greats at all just yet

From comparison videos, BF4 doesn't really look 'crap'. It looks less pretty, sure, but it still looks pretty good, and to be honest DA already has a more stylised art style which a reduction in detail probably won't harm as intensely.

That said, I can understand why, marketing-wise, they'd not be showing it on last-gen systems. They're trying to show the game at its best, not its worst.

I'm using the 360, too. Eventually I'm hoping to get a PC that can handle the game in its full glory since I could use a new PC anyway, but, until then, 360 it is. I'm sad about the graphics since the game is so gorgeous, but as long as it runs I'll be fine with it. I play for the story first and foremost, so it won't make a terrible ton of difference, and when I do eventually get a PC it will make the experience like new all over again since it will look so much better!

Indeed. In fact, the next console I plan to buy (I have a 360, like you) will be a PS3. It has a lot of exclusive games that interest me, plus you can play Destiny for free without having to buy PS+.

I'll get a PS4 someday but not anytime soon. I plan to let them work the bugs out for a couple of years and fork over a fat library of exclusive games.

I'm using a PS3, I have neither the money nor inclination for an upgrade as of this moment.

I don't care about the graphics issue thing either, a game can be absolutely gorgeous and I will ultimately drop it because I think the plot is terrible (The Last Hope, for example) and I can happily play an ugly game because I enjoy other aspects of it.

But then, I was always pretty easy to please when it came to visuals, show me a sufficiently bland rock and I'll be delighted.

I imagine if one saw how reasonably well a game looks on last gen consoles/PCs you'd have no incentive to want the latest gaming devices. If games aren't shown on last gen products, one can infer anything, and we do. I don't fault any company showing games on the latest devices. The goal is to get us to buy them, and spend more money.

I dare say, unless the material for DA:I comes out looking like an 8-bit game, we should be fine.

I'd like to think that a company that wants to charge top dollar for a product like DA:I that's the same price for both last gen and current devices, the material will be more than reasonable.

I will also be playing this game on the 360, though not as frequently as my other systems.

I'm getting it on 360. I actually entertained the idea of upgrading last year but IMO it's madness.

The XB1 and PS4 haven't been out a SINGLE YEAR & Bioware have Already pushed them to the absolute limit with DA:I. Performance will not get better than this. All that "Potential of Next gen" is PR Bullshit

Next gen consoles are just Mid range out of date PC's anyway. Can't even get 3rd party games at 1080p 60 frames a second. How do you thing these Machines will fare in 5 Years when we have 4K resolution in every household?

These things are already out of date. Wasting 400 euro's on Obsolete consoles is a bad idea when I can get a Bad ass PC for around 800 & use it for work as well. It's a no brainer.

DA:I on 360/PS3 will be as good an Experience as on other systems if Bioware did their jobs right with this port. Performance & Effects will be worse but as long as there isn't a loading screen every 50 feet I'll be fine.

If DA:I is a Great expierence I will buy the PC version when I get my new PC Set up.

Bioware are charging 60 bucks for this game so I expect a dammed good port.

It looks like crap on my 360 compared to my PC(Ultra settings), like really bad. Not to mention DAI, while they share similar requirements, will be alot more demanding that B4. Well see if if the artsyle will make up for it but i doubt it, even B4 showed last gen footage pre-release.

Exactly, games on PS4 and the Bone wont look much better than they do know. The hardware, while vastly more powerful, is simple and straightforward unlike the 360 and PS3 which alot more complicated. The 'next gen' hardware was obsolete on release anyway.

I thought about getting it on Xbox 360.. But I can't do it, man. I am going to pre-order this week for Xbox One or PS4. I would have to spend about 200 dollars to get my PC specs to recommended or above. So I would rather throw another 200 for a new system for the future games with DA:I being first. Can't decide between the two though. Its like buying a car.. Base model (ps3/360) or bells and whistles (ps4/xboxone).

I intended to play it on 360, those games aren't about graphics. DAO's graphics on 360 compared to PC were awful and it never bothered me. But I unexpectedly got a ps4 way faster than I thought I woiuld, so should I get the game it'll be on ps4.

The Battlefield 4 comparisons are flawed. It's not just a graphics tone down. It is 24 players compared to 64, less vehicles, scaled down maps, sub HD resolutions, and locked to 30 FPS compared to 60 on next gen. They are entirely different games.

The next gen versions are far more than a simple upscale.

I really don't care much about graphics and other effects that much ( record of argrest war has horrible graphics, cutscenes, effects etc) nor do I have the money for a new system or a good reason to buy one.

So i'm going to be playing it on the 360 aswell, along with all my other games.
