I don't think so - I changed Hawke's face and skin colour mid-way through one playthrough and Carver, Leandra, and Gamlen all stayed default.
They don't change faces after the prologue, no matter what you do with your Hawke in the BE. And the first three custom Hawke presets in character gen keep the default look for your family.

I love Hawke and I don't understand people wanting to kill their own protagonist.
My guess is they really hate DA2 and Hawke is the symbol for it. They got so caught up in hating the game that they never truly explored Hawke's character and found out how fun and enjoyable he/she could be, they'd rather just cut any ties they can with DA2 and move on.
I personally can't wait to see Hawke again, it should be fairly amusing.

Aggressive Hawke is not a sociopath, he's just not as rooted in social mores as most people are.
Having done a rogue playthrough with an aggressive Hawke, I was pleasantly surprised by how well the personality fit in with the storyline.

If anything, it's humorous Hawke that's the real crazy person. It takes a special brand of crazy to be able to kill hundreds of people with a smile on your face.

Mine was sarcastic all the way through, except for moments like Leandra's death, or the sibling being kidnapped, etc. Then it was usually Red Fist options all the way.

Yeah. After Leandra, Quinn basically can't tolerate even the thought of a threat to his loved ones so it's p much red all the way after he hears about his sibling.

Same my female Hawke was a female Reaver and aggressive was really fun to play. Now being aggressive does not mean you pick the red option ALL the time just like how sometimes Sarcastic Hawke can come across as unsympathetic or a socio-path.
Just means a majority of your chosen options were Red.
