One of the things I hated in DA1 was how much micromanaging the party members took and what a pain in the ass it was to set up all the conditions for them to use in combat.

I am wondering if anyone knows what the party combat is like in DAI?  I would love for it to be similar to Mass Effect where the AI just uses the best available abilities unless I set a condition contrary to that.

Can anyone provide some insight into how tactics works in this game and if the party UI is improved?

Sorry if this has been asked already  I did try to search for an answer and didn't find anything.

Sorry, they haven't given us any details about the Tactics and Behavior systems... all I know is that we can adjust the conditions for when allies drink potions, but that's it.

Considering how much this game is focused on tactical combat and such? With no healing spells, you'll need to create at least a few tactics to keep them from needing a potion every five seconds. Plus, the systems is most likely way more in depth.

So, speculation obviously, but you'll need to micromanage them at least a little.

I never micro-managed, I just control my Warden or my Hawke, fill the party with followers I like regardless of whether their abilities work together and if they die I leave them down until the fight ends
