The last couple of days suddenly I cannot find any active lobby.  Am I the last girl (Asari) standing? Where are all the Krogan and Turians - are all converted to reapers already?

 

But seriously - where is everybody? Maybe I should also move there...

The PS3 mustard rice is still kicking reaper/geth/ cerberus/ sometimes collector when it doesn't freeze arse. I rarely have to wait more than a few seconds when pugging gold. Plat may take a while to find a decent lobby, but not to join a game.

System PC. Just a few days ago I could find a lobby without too big trouble. And suddenly the last two days NOTHING. Not a single lobby, nobody joins the game in progress... I can do solo, so servers are alive obviously. Origin shows no updates available for ME (what a surprise

Check your network settings. Is there an exception for ME3 in your Windows Firewall? Are the related ports open on your router?

Could the settings change on their own? I mean I certainly did not change anything intentionally. How to check the ports on the router?

That, but also, yes, some firewall settings do get corrupted. Like, Steam just stopped working for me today. It turns out its entry in Windows Firewall had gotten corrupted. After removing the entry for Steam and its related program web helper, I started it up and gave it access, and now, no problem connecting with Steam.

 

I have no problem finding a lobby; I leave it at unknown/unknown and only specify the difficulty.

There have been server problems the last little while, someone in another thread was complaining about all the disconnects and such.

Peasetree players on my end are on LolDestiny. The amount of active lobbies are a bit lower than it was before LolDestiny. I can definitely feel the difference of the impact.

im the last "mexican druglord" krogan (yes the people ask me that question many times x_X) and i still fighting against the odds, sometimes im a STG holding the line or a geth with soul with a shotgun

Ok, the false alert. After turning the modem OFF and ON, everything is working again. The strange thing, since I was able to solo and the connection was not dead entirely.

 

By the way, I have 100 MBPS up/down optic cable connection, but still sometimes get server disconnects during the gameplay.

BTW, to answer this part: Yes, they can. Router auto-updates, ISP setting updates pushed to the router, Windows updates that change default system security settings, console updates that do the same. Etc.

I wish I had internet even remotely close to those speeds. My internet's pretty solid and sometimes I too run into random disconnects, but it's not our fault.....it's just one of many premium servies EA offers in Origin.

It doesn't make much of a difference in gaming.  I went from 1 Mbps to 10 Mbps to 300 Mbps and the difference wasn't that noticeable.  The only time I appreciate the faster speed (10 to 300 Mbps) was when I download things.

If you allow your ISP to change the settings of your router, then you need to either block their access or get a new router/ISP. This is a huge security issue. It means they have full access to your LAN, too.
