On October 18th I lost my Dad to cancer. It was really sudden as he was only diagnosed with it a week earlier. And we didn't have time to plan anything. My brother has set up a memorial fund to help raise money for the funeral and to help our mother out. Here is the link. If you feel it in your heart then please donate. But don't feel obligated to do so. 

 

I don't know if the mods are going to shut this topic down, since I don't know if this is against the rules and to be honest right now I don't care if it is. My only focus right now is helping my family.

I lost My grandfather on the first, so I can emphasize what you must be going through.

My dad survived cancer when I was a little kid and I'm damn glad I didn't grow up without a father.

I'm so sorry if you are genuine OP.. but Rakia here said exactly what I was thinking..... and there for I cannot be able to trust to donate to any fond of yours... had I known you were genuine for a fact then I wouldn't have hesitated at all and I would have donated right away but not like this... sorry... My dad has in fact just survived cancer, so I know what it's like to have it in the family, I'm sympathetic enough, it's not that, I just cannot trust a stranger.

 

I completely understand. I would be cautious myself. I just felt like I had to do something to help. I knew that most people would be calling this a scam and this topic will probably be closed soon, and I won't have any hard feelings. 

 

And as for not reading the site rules and couldn't figure out where they were. I don't get on here that often anymore. But I found then and I'll see if this is braking any rules if it is then I will take it down.
