And I'm just against movies made from games in general, especially when the game is an RPG. RPGs are a story telling medium and saying a film needs to be made is implying that the game failed at telling a good story.

naw bro i'm just playing thru origins for the first time while binge watching the mentalist. still think he'd be perfect for it, even if original works are always better

as a reader i will attest to the original medium almost always being the better but i don't think telling the same story in another way means the initial has failed. to turn a painting into a story or a dance into a song doesn't mean the first wasn't good enough, it simply means looking at the story from another angle, as no one medium can show or tell everything the way another can.

No FILM adaptation for dragon age. Just no! Dawn of Seeker was horrible. And the tallis series also sucked hard.

Horrible cannto descibred how bad it was.
Anyway a DA:Movie could go right. See the Hobbit and Lord of Rings, but you would need more than 2 movies with 3 hours each for something good.

I can just imagine the outrage from the fans about how ridiculous the world state in the movie is... ![]()

I would rather Dragon Age remain as books and video games. Adapting the stories from the games themselves into movies just seems like a really terrible idea. If they make a movie, I'd rather it be a story independent of the Warden, Hawke and whatever other protagonists we get in the franchise. But even that seems shaky.
i still believe they will make a good video-game adaptation some day.

I'd rather Doug Savant *.* when I used to watch Desperate Housewives and I looked at him, he always remind me of Alistair ♡

Errr, no. A film would probably end with a "typical" protagonist, and even if they created a new story... well, you just need remember to Redemption and how bad it was.

This whole thread reminds me of a thought that crossed my mind last week. If any such move was to come to light, Melissa McBride would have to play Wynn.

Anyone remember the Doom movie? Please, NEVER, EVER try to put Dragon Age to film.
